The German Pavilion is the best EPCOT pavilion to visit for Christmas. I mean, the Germans gave us the Christmas tree tradition so… bonus points. I married into a German family (3 generations removed but it still counts) so I get to be a little biased on this one. But just look at how cute the German Mickey and Minnie merch is this year!

Plus, it’s home to the Bavaria Holiday Kitchen during the Festival of the Holidays and the food is always fire! I never actually got to sample any of their offerings this year but that’s only because I had limited time and I never saw that line with fewer than 100 people in it. 👀

Oh well, at least the Pretzel Bread Pudding is there year round.

EPCOT’S hottest accessory right now. See how I wear it? Very demure. It’s giving ‘guaranteed seating for the Candlelight Processional.’ Seriously though - the Dining Package is the only way to get decent seats at the Candlelight Processional. Fortunately this year the list of restaurants participating expanded to include 8 new options. So this year I started my day with breakfast at La Creperie de Paris where I picked up my comically large ‘I have a guaranteed seat!’ sticker then spent the day cruising around the festival till it was time to line up. I had a pass for the 5:00 PM show and arrived at 4:00 PM to line up and found myself all the way back in Japan the line was so long. So, I guess show up 2-hours early for your show. I still got a really good seat since our entire line was let in first but if you’re a ‘front row or die’ kind of viewer - 2-hours.

🕯️Nothing to see here. Just freakin’ Whoopi Goldberg a.k.a. Guinan narrating at the Candlelight Processional in EPCOT. The cast of celebrity narrators gets more amazing every year but Whoopi Goldberg is one of the OG narrators and Disney Adults. So many layers of nerding out for me that night.

A few of my favorite things now includes festive sushi! The Sushi Tree Roll at Shi Wasu in the Japan pavilion is just a simple spicy roll but… festive. There’s definitely fancier and tastier things to try at the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays but hey, if it makes you smile - worth it.
