The founder of Molah Media has 10 years of writing experience having published original work in leading medical journals and textbooks, patient information sheets, newslett

ers and magazines, and on-line spaces. Our particular skill is in being able to turn the science of writing into an art, truly telling a story, your story. When creating content for your website, social media spaces and other promotional material, we spend time discussing your business, service, brand, or the message you want to convey to your clients or audience, allowing you to sell yourself effectively. We have a particular interest and skill in putting together biographies for social media use that abbreviated but still engaging, and with the salient information. Our editing services will ensure that your story flows well, clearly conveys the message you intend, and vividly comes across to the reader.

FINAL ISSUE - ART & DESIGN SPECIAL ISSUE

It has been a long and hot minute but here it is - a HoM Special Edition – The Art & Design Issue. It is also our LAST ISSUE and so we had to end on a beautiful note.

DISCLAIMER: We do not profess to know even a quarter of all there is to know about art, but we wanted to go off the beaten path as we’ve always done and share some known and unknown jewels hiding in the art world.
On the cover is the insanely talented and smart and humble Moffat Takadiwa who works out of Mbare, and whose work is featured in public and private collections around the world; right now he is exhibiting in the US. Then we have Sony Photography Award Winner Tamary Kudita whose photography will mesmerise you and cultural curator Gaynor Tutani – few get to know about the people behind the wonderful exhibitions we see, and she is one of them.
Here are the other incredible creatives featured:

Tafadzwa Gwetai - Visual Artist

Nicola Holden – Interior Designer

Janet Nyabeze-Siringwani – Visual Artist and Art Teacher

Finally, young South-African-based writer Ivainashe Nyamutsamba gives us an out-of-the-box perspective on African art and design.
Thank you all for being part of this incredible and joyous work celebrating US and let’s all continue to own our narrative!

Happy World Book Day!

In between editing and writing and life in general, it’s hard to find time to dive into a good book. For that reason, our founder ends up having a few on the go but here’s the one that’s at the front of the pack. This is long so bear with us!

“Books and reading have always been about so much more then the joy and pleasure of the act. It’s about the doors that open as a result.
I’ve always had this need to understand why the world is the way it is and right now I find myself gravitating to anything or anyone that sheds light on the why.
So last year I picked this up at an airport- sooo last year right! When did you last see an airport? Ok let me not go off-topic...
Anyway, Prisoners of Geography by Tim Marshall is a great and accessible read on geopolitics. As I read it, I found that I needed a map in front of me and being old school, I still have an atlas from my high school days back in the 80s. Yes this is how much I love books - the only things I’ll hoard like a being possessed.
The maps in my atlas are quite different from the ones today, e.g., the USSR v modern day Russia and Sudan v North and South Sudan. And this is the beauty of the act - reading and books bring the pieces of the puzzle together. My Longman Atlas of circa 1985 flows beautifully with and aptly contextualises Prisoners of Geography of 2016.
Keep reading and pursuing knowledge. Look back, look forward but most importantly look around you right now. The answers are there for the one that asks and seeks!”
