A caring mother
A lioness guards her cubs as they're coming out of their hiding place to have a look at the world. This is a carefully managed process and it often doesn't take longer than a couple of minutes per day. We were at the right time i the right place to watch these 6 weeks old cubs sneaking in and out of their hiding place near Long Gulley.

Cruisin' through the migration
Wildebeests and zebra's like fresh green grass. As April 2018 was the wettest month in decades in Tanzania, they stayed a bit longer in Ndutu, where the grass is greener and shorter than anywhere else. Cruising through the migration and the mud... Here we go...

Two leopard cubs playing
This short video shows two leopard cubs while they're playing. Unfortunately we heard from Tandau Baynetthat the two cubs were killed by a lion last week. Whenever they get the chance lions kill their competitors in the food chain. And this is what happened to the cubs. As they're unable to climb trees yet, their mother can't protect them against a male lion. Very sad, but that's nature...

Giraffe fight
This is what happens when 2 young giraffe bulls want to impress a zebra... This is quite a gentile fight but it sometimes happens that one of them gets killed when the other one breaks his neck. In this case both of them survived, it was only a rehearsal.

Folk dancing @ Endallah Secondary School
10 Students and 4 teachers from Ursulinen Mechelen recently returned from a 14 days exchange programme in Tanzania. And what did they do there? They did typical Belgian folk dancing! The students from both Ursulinen Mechelen and Endallah Secondary School clearly enjoyed it!
