What's occurring? Welcome to Cycle in Tuscany we aim to make your cycle holiday in Tuscany as simple as possible, taking the stress out it allowing you to just turn up and ride. Staying at our luxury villa set in the middle of these rolling hills, valleys and at the foot of some mountainous passes, it is the perfect launching point for most of the rides y
ou will need. For those of you serious about your training routes we have created a number of them for you to try and for those of you who prefer something a little less strenuous we have some gentle rides. Bring your mountain bike if you or hire one from us (advance notice required) we get show you some of the many hundreds of miles of mountain bike tracks in the vicinity. In fact you don't have to ride every day you can just visit some of the many fantastic local attractions nearby – like Lucca, Pisa or Florence. Why not bring your partner who can relax at the house and sit by the pool (pool opens in May and closes in October) or relax on the terraces or take one of the many walks which are available straight out the door. A total of 250 kilometers of paths cross Lunigiana through hundreds of rural villages, old bridges, chestnut woods, traditional pastures, stopping every now and then to admire an evocative panorama, a defended village, the shapes of a castle, get a bite to eat in one of the many excellent local restaurants or cafes on route. Airport Pickup included in the price1, we can pick you up from all the major airports which serve our house (Milan Malpensa, Linate, Bergamo, Parma, Pisa, Florence, Bologna, Genoa). We will come and get you and your bike, or if you prefer to hire a car then we can transport just your bike and guide you to the villa. Accommodation at a luxury Villa. We can cater for groups of up to eight in the villa. There are to double bedrooms and two twin rooms. Two shower rooms (one with a bath). The Villa has full central heating for those starting early in the season, fully fitted modern kitchen , with dishwasher. Satellite TV, and wifi internet. Garmin Edge 810 GPS device, to follow the pre planed routes and collect all your metrics, The touchscreen Edge 810 is designed for the cyclist who wants it all — navigation and advanced training capabilities in 1 device. Dedicated Support driver – A support driver will be on hand should you run into any mechanical difficulties for example, they will be able to come and get you and either bring you back to the house or have the tools to enable you to fix it. Detailed routes with local knowledge – With over 15 years of local knowledge we can help you get just the right route for you we can tell you about the good cafes en-route , you will get stunning panoramas, tough mountain climb finishes , if you want a week of testing rides followed by the “Cake Ride” down to the beach and a dip into the Mediterranean on the Tuscan Riviera, we can pick the routes. If you want to change your routes once you are here no problem just use the Garmin device or laptop to pick a new one. If you want a more leisurely time we can help there too. A fully fitted workshop with all the tools you will need to get the job done. We also supply free inner tubes, puncture repair kits (including gas inflators and spare rechargers) and multitool to use during your stay. We offer free Sports In Science Go Energy, Recovery drinks with Gels and Bars to take with you. We can also optionally offer a cook service to provide all the meals in the house for after your ride, this can be tailored on a per night basis if you fancy eating out some nights. We can also offer an optional (at extra cost) trained Physio to give a 30 minute massage after your ride. Location
