Our Story
This page is dedicated to the history and my travels of the borderland region of southwest New Mexico. There are many historic sites, dating from pre-historic cultural sites to the railroad era, including old abandoned ranches, railroad towns, early aircraft landing strips, mining camps and anything else historic. I have been exploring this region since the mid 1970's when I was first introduced to the area. I have been collecting historic maps of the area, reading old newspaper articles of the area and I am always looking for historic events that may have occurred in this region. - Lloyd Sumner -
