It's Magic Maker Monday and we are so excited for you to meet Heather Brunner. Heather lives in Iowa with her husband and has three married children. Heather is so excited to become a grandmother for the first time this Fall! We asked her some questions so you can get to know her better.

What is your favorite Disney park and why? My heart belongs to Disneyland. Growing up in Southern California, I went to Disneyland A LOT! Anytime friends or relatives would visit from out of state or Canada my parents would allow me to skip school to be their personal tour guide at Disneyland. I also was able to work in the advertising office on college break one summer as a temp, so I would spend my lunch hours in the park watching the joy in people’s eyes as they experienced the Magic.

What is your favorite Disney resort? The Polynesian! The atmosphere is so incredible. Feeling the sand in your toes walking on the beach is my favorite. It truly has an island feel. Having Dole whips at your fingertips is the best! Being a monorail resort makes it that much better—super easy on and off to the parks.

Any special/fun tips you like to share with your clients? I like to suggest that people “eat around the World” at EPCOT. There are so many different cultures represented there and their food is fabulous! I also make sure the kids have an autograph book for character autographs. Looking back at my own kids’ pictures, seeing the excitement takes me back to that exact moment and makes me so happy. Also, pop up showers happen all the time—pack those ponchos!

What is your favorite destination other than Disney? I am a cruise fanatic! I have been on too many to count, and I have loved every single one. Seeing different destinations and cultures for a short period of time makes me feel like I’ve seen the world. The food and entertainment are fabulous, lying by the pool watching a movie is one of my favorite things to do.

What do you love best about what you do? I get so excited when a family tells me they have never been to Disney. I know that everything I say and do for them will make their trip that much more enjoyable. And when they return and I get to hear their stories about how magical Disney is, it literally brings me tears of joy. My job is so rewarding.

We’re ready for ya, Disneyland!!! A new limited-capacity ticketed event will begin on March 18, opening the gates of Disney’s California Adventure for A Touch of Disney! Enjoy favorites like Dole whips and churros, snap some selfies throughout the parks, and get to see Mickey and friends! Dining will also be available at Lamplight Lounge and Carthay Circle!! For those who have been missing the parks in California, this is a must-do event. Tickets go on sale next week!
