It is ok to feel scared, with all the feelings that have kept us a prisoner for many years but we don’t need to let them control us anymore. We have survived! We have got to where we are now in our lives one way or another - break the pattern and learn to let go of what does not serve us any purpose.
Our thoughts keep us stuck in an unhealthy pattern because we believe them. We have been conditioned to be like this for many years.

Finding a safe space to write or draw or sing or write poems is a great way to express yourself. When you have allowed the space to do this it is important we come back to the present moment and tell ourselves we are safe and ok, even though we may not feel it at the time.
