If you didn't know, Mexico City is built over an ancient lake bed! It was home to the most powerful empire of the region under Moctezuma II before it fell to the Spanish in 1521. And there is so much more!

Hairo and I recently returned from a trip to Mexico City. If you haven't been, I highly recommend you do. There is something so endearing and charming about CDMX. I am quite in love. Happy to report Antigua is super pet friendly! We have yet to encounter a restaurant that has not been more than happy to let us come inside with our dogs. However, museums and cathedrals do not allow pets. Otherwise we haven’t had any issues bringing them everywhere with us. 🐾💕
