VACANCY - SHOOTING CO-ORDINATOR

Ian Coley Sporting and our sister company Roxtons Shooting are two of the leading Field Sports shooting agencies in the UK. We have built up our reputation over 45 years by providing outstanding sport, backed up by a highly efficient and personal level of service.

We are currently looking to recruit a full time Shooting Co-Ordinator to work alongside a small team based in the town of Hungerford, Berkshire.

The successful candidate must be prepared to work flexible hours on occasions, have excellent IT skills, be well organised with good attention to detail, and an excellent telephone manner.

Salary is dependant upon experience, skills and knowledge.
Company benefits include pension and private health.

Fantastic to see our sister company Ian Coley Sporting are doing the Great Grouse Run with The Wheatsheaf Inn Northleach. Simulated Game Days

With the end of the game season fast approaching, we are looking towards an action-packed Spring / Summer with our exciting clay days at Hilldrop Shoot in North Wiltshire.

The days are run as fully simulated game days for up to 18 people with drives to match all standards of shots, from the traditional high pheasants to the fast and furious vermin. Guns and guests are also treated to exceptional hospitality throughout the day, be it a refreshing glass of Pimms for elevenses overlooking the stunning North Wessex Downs or a delicious BBQ lunch at the Shoot Lodge. It is truly a day to remember for everyone.

Our recently launched campaign... As responsible custodians of the countryside, the overwhelming majority of game shooters now opt to use biodegradable, ‘fibre’ wad cartridges. We’d like to see everyone who shoots game do this, firm in the belief that there is no longer an excuse not to do so.

The Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT) has launched a new book to increase understanding of shoot conservation and to raise standards by increasing awareness of Guns’ legal and ethical obligations including tackling some of the most controversial issues affecting shooting today.

The Knowledge: Every Gun’s Guide to Conservation is aimed at seasoned Guns as well as those new to shooting. Equally, it will be of value to conservationists or people keen to learn more about how the British countryside is managed.
