The cottage has been busy over the summer. Here’s a few local spots within easy reach of Barham. There’s a wild swimming spot, lovely walks and bike rides up to the Mount for an incredible sunset. 😊 Do come and visit if you want a nice relaxing break or maybe see the Northern Lights!

A wonderful few days at Barham with lots of warm sunshine bringing the whole garden to life and forcing the dogs to cool down in the burn. The icing was a stunning sunset followed by a rare (I’ve lived here 54 years and never seen them!) display of the Northern Lights. Happy days😊😊

Beautiful autumn colours at Barham at the moment……the cottage which lies to the east of the main house is surrounded by majestic 200 + year old beech and oak trees. We’ll soon be having to rake up the leaves!🍁🍂

It’s 70 years since this building was last lived in and tomorrow night we have our first guests staying! A few last minute exciting additions like loo brushes, corkscrews and coat hangers and we’re nearly there😊. We will be live on a rental website soon but if anyone is looking, or knows anyone looking, for a stay in Fife then give us a shout!

Nearly there! First (trail) guests arrive in 2 weeks……then we’ll be open for business. 70 years since anyone lived there so there’s been lots to do. 😊

A gorgeous spring day here at Barham and at last the cottage is nearly ready…..most importantly the probably 100 year old loo seat has been fitted😊. Emma and I are just fitting the cottage out and we should soon be good to go!
