Sometimes travel just ain’t that easy. You may have to spend all day on hold trying to connect international calls and to convince someone to process your pet license while on the other line, change your cross-continental flights.
Yet, we keep on keeping on.
ANNOUNCEMENT
If you are trying to travel through Singapore with an animal, be aware that you are required to obtain a transship license through the AVS Singapore website. This was previously unclear before they rewrote the verbiage on Singapore’s website under the “traveling with a pet” requirements. Do to our personal hassle and the substantial financial strain this caused we hope to advise others to be mindful in obtaining this license before your flight to Singapore, as all animals traveling/ transiting through the Changi Airport require a license to do so.
You can apply for the license easily at: https://www.nparks.gov.sg/avs/pets/bringing-animals-into-singapore-and-exporting/bringing-in-and-transshipping-dogs-and-cats/transshipping-dogs-and-cats-via-singapore
BUT be aware it takes 2 working days to obtain. Best of luck and cheers from our balcony in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Five Years Later
Little did we know, 1 year would lead to so many more, but here we are, still cheesing over travel and hungry for adventure today.
From Vietnam, we’re happy to celebrate our five year travel-versary. Air high-five to our past selves for taking a chance. We left our families at Union Station in Denver in 2016 and headed onward for a very uncertain first night in Bogota, Colombia. Today, five years later, we took a look at our original itinerary, reminisced about the road traveled, and tried to narrow down some favorites in all the bajillion good memories.
So cheers to five years and hurrah for the next adventure!
Staying dry while Vietnam is staying luscious and green. Check out the lighting strike in our backyard! Yikes!!
72 Hours in Taipei
We had an amazing time in Taiwan for New Years. Here is a sneak peak of our trip! A 40 second timelapse of our 72 hours in Taipei, Taiwan.
After a fantastic cable car ride over lush landscapes and heavy fog, we emerged out of the clouds to see the outline of Sun World Ba Na Hills French village. Hard to believe such a magical adventure exists just 40 mins outside of DaNang City.
Here's to one of the most amazing travel years so far! Happy New Year from Kuala Lumpur!!!
Here's to one of the best travel years of our lives! Happy New Year from Kuala Lumpur!!!
Currently on a 48hr journey to Siem Reap (Angkor Wat) in Cambodia from Hoi An, Vietnam. Absolutly love this life we live even if we are exhausted. At least the bus has beds for seats. :)
