Happy Victoria Day - it's a holiday weekend here in Canada! My man took my toddler away for the weekend and gave me a break. Between lots of ice cream, chocolate, and sleeping, I got some cleaning done. I want to show you these pictures of cleaning with my Norwex microfiber cloth! I really love this blog, and I appreciate her advice on using essential oils. Just because they are "natural" doesn't mean they don't have risks. Know what you are doing and make sure you are using them safely!!!

Essential oils have many uses as natural remedies but caution should be used in taking them internally, using them on babies, children or pregnant moms.

So...I had the chance to test out the Carpet Stain Buster from Norwex. I was pruning my Tower Garden and had lots of green leaves on the floor. Instead of picking them up I decide to vacuum them up - the easy way. :) That method left a TON of green stains. Lesson learned. I sprayed on the Carpet Stain Buster and let it sit for about 5 minutes, then dabbed it up with an EnviroCloth. No scrubbing or anything like that needed. Stains are GONE. And no chemicals left in the carpet for when my boy plays!

If you're wanting to eat healthier but finding organic a bit pricey - try focusing on purchasing organic just for the dirty dozen. I will admit, I don't always do this (I tend to focus on meat quality more so than fruits & veggies)...but even a little less exposure to chemicals and pesticides will help. Think of it as a long-term investment in your health!
