Hey everyone! We're having an amazing time relaxing and getting some sun in Phuket.
But we are completely shocked at how expensive it is to withdraw money from an ATM. They all charge 220 baht ($10.60) per transaction- how ridiculous!
Luckily our ING debit card REFUNDS all transaction fees, or we'd be broke already. We have saved over $550 on fees this financial year, that's less than 4 months!
Just a heads up for anyone heading to Thailand this summer, consider getting an ING Orange Everyday bank account (or another that refunds ATM fees internationally) to save yourself some $$$.

Making the most of our detour!
Yesterday we were meant to make it to Namibia, however our guides didn’t have work permits so after 3 hours at the border and a some car park cricket (quite entertaining for the border guards! 😂) we had to turn around and head back into Botswana. Luckily we found a lovely campsite to hang out at until everything is sorted 😁

We've arrived in Zimbabwe before our three week African overland tour! Internet and electricity are very intermittent (so much that restaurants have a "power-cut menu"), so we might not be able to update as much as we want. To make up for it here's some photos of our border crossing (which took 4 hours) a warthog that charged me, and the standard power-cut menu!
