Our last day in New Orleans started off with a catfish po’boy brunch @oceanagrill in the @nolafrenchquarter and a walk through Pirate’s Alley to @oldursulineconvent and St. Mary’s Catholic Church with its creepy upside down dove in the shape of an upside down cross where young girls were said to arrive in the middle of the night carrying coffins that were soon after stored in the attic. The attic window shutters have been nailed shut since that night 200 years ago! We continued on to the original @cafedumonde for more of the infamous beignets and coffee and then back through @jackson.square.moments on our way to a late lunch @curionola before heading to the airport.
A huge thank you to @delta and staff for getting us safely out of the #neworleansinternationalairport before the second tornado touched down!

A morning walk to @cafedumonde for some amazing beignets and coffee, through the @frenchmktnola then some relaxing time @royalsonestano pool, and finally some fried alligator bites, roasted duck gumbo, and a French dip at the beautiful @curionola! The food here is absolutely amazing!
