My travels over the years have taken me to some amazing places including, Japan – where I lived for some time, USA, South America, Africa, Indian Ocean, Middle East, Caribbean, Australia, Asia, Scandinavia, Europe and even Azerbaijan. As a true aviation geek or ‘anorak’, I’m often spotted with my radio and binoculars at the edge of the runway soaking in the jet fuel. I can usually pin down the perfect one within about 5-10 minutes that will tick all your boxes and package it up for you. With the increasing variety of small ship, super yacht, expedition and cold water cruising now available, these continue to grow in popularity and I particularly love putting these together.

The World Travel & Tourism Council estimates that 10% of global jobs are reliant on travel and tourism, with countries such as Aruba being closer to 30%. Any hotel or resort that is labelled with the Green Leaf has been certified by an organisation using criteria created by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council. This means that it is working to maximise social and economic benefits in the local community, enhance cultural heritage, reduce negative impacts on the environment, and to be effectively planning for the future with sustainability in mind. 🍃

You’ll see this logo in our marketing but it’s also something that you can ask me about when you’re planning your next trip, so that you can be sure that you’re staying at a more sustainable hotel.
