The Mammoth Project Here at The Mammoth Project we believe that the protection of our beautiful planet is in everybody’s interests.

Our mission is to spread this message far and wide by inviting people to see the natural world as something filled with awe, inspiration and beauty to which each and every one of us is inextricably linked. Through organising adventure tours, workshops and community outreach projects The Mammoth Project aims to help people reengage with the living planet that we inhabit, developing a platform from

which we can start a conversation about sustainability and conservation. Inspiring people who are not normally involved with conservation and sustainability is of particular importance to us. We will achieve this by highlighting the ways we can all benefit, economically, socially and spiritually, from taking care of the natural world. In the future we aim to fund research and support organisations that work towards conservation goals across our planet.

We never have and never will partake in Elephant Safaris. We as a firm have never once booked an elephant safari for anyone and we will continue to spread awareness about just how bad riding an elephant is (FOR THE ELEPHANT)!

Tiger centric tourism has become quite a problem but whenever we sight this magnificent beast, we understand exactly why the majority flock towards it! It just has that aura and that inexplicable pull!

But we are trying something different. We will surely do our level best to try and get you a great sighting of this gorgeous cat, but our Naturalists will also attempt to make you fall in love with the forest too!

Let's go track these beauties while indulging in everything else that nature has to offer! The fluttering butterflies that awkwardly fly across our field of view, the beautiful birds that crown the canopy with their melodies, the dancing trees that rhythmically sway with the breeze, the scurrying lizards that give us the side-eye...there's just so much we miss when we wear the tiger blinders.

India has some incredible biodiversity and a hoard of rare species! Rare and endangered species are extremely important for the ecosystem and environmental balance

Hence we don't do rare species specific tours. If we sight once by luck, then so be it, but searching for rare species specifically can only add to the pressures that they're already facing.

Responsible tourism is a necessity, not a luxury!
