Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will resume direct flights to the UK by February, announced Defense Minister Khawaja Asif.
Along with UK routes, PIA plans to introduce flights to 19 European cities, including Barcelona and Milan, and also expand to the US and Canada.
This move is aimed at boosting the airline's value and preparing it for privatization.
PIA has been working to revive its operations, recently marking the return of flights to Paris after a four-year hiatus.
The airline is seeking approval from UK authorities to reinstate operations to London, Birmingham, and Manchester.
