Broccoli Swallow - a healthier alternative to eba, starch, pounded yam & amala.

Ingredients

Broccoli,
Semolina flour, &
Cassava starch.

This is my current go to for an alternative to the regular swallow. An added benefit is that you can store it in the fridge for use over the week.
I tried to ways of heating it up, I used the hot water soak for five minutes and microwave for 90seconds. Both options worked okay, I did favour the microwave version just because it saved time.
At first I was going to use just the semo but I wanted a starch like consistency so I added cassava starch and it made a lot of difference. If you donât have semolina or starch, psyllium husk will have a similar effect.

My go to salad dressing is #balsamicvinegar. I love that itâs light and doesnât clash with the natural flavours in the salad. I do add a teaspoon of EVOO sometimes to give it an extra kick.

One thing I have come to learn is, being single isnât something to be ashamed off. Itâs very okay to be proudly single and just end the sentence at that. Itâs okay to be single and not searching. Itâs okay to be single because you want to focus on other things. Donât feel pressured to get into something just for a title change, believe me - youâll eventually long for the lonely nights; cause itâs much worse being lonely with someone next to you than being lonely by yourself đ
Hating your body wonât make you thin and being thin wonât make you stop hating your body.
Believe me, this quote is so true, I remember when I was a size 10 and I couldnât stop finding faults all over my body, I was so hard on myself. I look back at those pictures now and wish I had a time machine to tell my old self that it was okay to love her body despite the folds.
