I've learned so much from these incredible friends already, and I can't wait to share it with you!
Pictures tell great stories, but as I reflected on photos from the year, I thought about other highlights that weren't necessarily captured in photos. Here are some things that made 2023 special (in no particular order):
Personal HighlightsÂ
1. Becoming a godmommyÂ
2. Having my baby brother visit me in Florida and our many phone conversationsÂ
3. Working on Spain house projects with my friend, Leigh
4. Visiting Iceland, France, Portugal, and Spain along with trips to San Antonio, Chicago, and St Louis (plus the people on these trips that made them so special)
5. Long walks. Lots of walking. I'm not good at being mentally still, and this year, I had anxiety creep in. Walking has become a way for me to find balance and a mental refresh.Â
Professional HighlightsÂ
1. Meeting so many of YOU!!! This has truly been such a blessing!
2. Monetizing YouTube
3. Collaborating with other content creators
4. Becoming an Amazon Influencer (this has made a big financial difference, allowing me to invest more in my other content creation)
5. Moments of impact, where something I said in a video turned into action steps for someone else. I really mean it when I say, "I can't wait to see where your dreams will take you!"
P.S. I think maybe I like that beanie a little too much. Haha. Maybe I should have a variety of beanies.

When we move or travel to different places in the world, you have to mentally and emotionally prepare yourself for the exchange. You usually can't have all the good things about every culture wrapped into one. Instead, you have to sacrifice one thing for another. Have you ever had a hard time making those sacrifices? #traveltheworld #expatlife
I'm learning that there are so many creative real estate solutions! I certainly never thought about flipping land remotely. Any coffee lovers out there? What's your coffee approach? I like to grind my own coffee and do pour over style with a stainless steel filter from Ikea. No need for paper filters or coffee pods. I also love going out for a coffee in Europe. It's usually around $1 to $2 and common to sit and enjoy it with friends. Do you have a favorite coffee culture? #coffee #finance #Starbucks #money #investing #saving #goodcoffee #firemovement

I lost touch with a lot of people when I traveled, but the friends who always made it a point to call really made such an emotional difference for me. #friends #travel #relationships #globetrotter #digitalnomad #longtermtravel
Last year, I went on my first WWOOFING adventure with one of my best friends to Norway. WWOOF stands for Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms. This footage was taken just above the organic farm where we worked and stayed in a house along the bank of a fjord. I can't begin to express how beautiful it was. There are opportunities all over the world. There is a WWOOF website for each country and a small fee to join each one (mine was 30 euro on the Norway site). My friend and I stayed for 3 weeks, completely free, and we were fed three meals per day by the host. We worked for three to five hours per day, five days per week. In our off time, we went on hikes, played games with other WWOOFERS, and spent time enjoying the beauty all around us. This is a great opportunity for young people who want to see the world on a budget. But if you're older, don't count yourself out. I didn't go u til I was in my 40s and I still loved it! It's also a great way to get back to nature and learn about farm life. #travel #budgettravel #globetrotting #worldtravel #organic #organicfarms #workexchange #freetravel #nomad #nomadlife #seetheworld #Norway #fjord
Since the filming of this video, the roof has been removed over both bedrooms, the wood beams over the front bedroom have been replaced with galvanized steel beams, and new cement with rebar poured around the edges. We are going to use panal roofing that resembles clay tile on the front, and on the back, we are getting quotes to build a flat roof terrace made of cement. #spain #renovation #realestate #fixerupper #reno
I love a good terrace! Just one more video after this one, showing one of the upstairs bedrooms. If this is your first time here, this is the third house I've bought in Pego, Spain. 🇪🇸 Check out my other reels or links for more info. 🙂 #spain #realestate #fixerupper #plants #garden #reno #renovation
The courtyard! I can't tell you how excited I am about this space. I love the outdoors, especially in Spain. What would you do with this courtyard? This is the third house I purchased in Pego, Spain. I'm selling the first one to friends, and I'll be making this one my home for at least a few months every year. 🙂 #Spain #renovation #reno #realestate #fixerupper #Europe #homes #house #plants
