Alicante has quickly become one of my favoirte cities to visit in Spain. It's not too big, not too small, and has a really great vibe. Some of my favorite places to visit while there are the Santa Barbara castle, and there's also a pink lake not far outside of the city.

Alicante Part 2. Visiting Alicante again on my last trip to Spain really grew my love for this little city. It may actually now be my preference for flying in and out of Spain. Alicante has an international airport and the car rental prices (especially in the off season) are unbeatable!
