Celebrate Soulfully at Disneyland Resort this June! Celebrate Black heritage and culture through music, food and art.

At Disneyland Park, meet Tiana and Ariel from the live-action film, and experience the exhibit Black Music at the Turn of the 20th Century at the Golden Horseshoe. You can also celebrate with special food & beverage offerings, including at Tiana's Palace and River Belle Terrace.

At Disney California Adventure Park, meet Black Panther, Dora Milaje and Captain America, discover the art of Floyd Norman, Walt Disney Animation Studios’ first Black animator, and enjoy live musical performances throughout the month of June at Paradise Garden Bandstand.

Keep the celebration going at the Downtown Disney District with live entertainment! Dance and groove to live musical performances highlighting genres such as R&B, hip hop, reggae, funk, Motown, jazz and doo-wop. Choose Your Adventure at Disney Lookout Cay

As we continue our deep dive into Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, let’s explore the natural beauty guests will discover during their visit.

Disney Lookout Cay has both family and adult-exclusive beaches, offering the perfect blend of unmatched natural beauty and relaxation for every member of the family.

Rush Out, Gush Out Water Play is a water play area for all ages, and Sebastian’s Cove has several amazing youth activities. Private cabanas are also available for both families and adults to reserve.

At Serenity Bay, guests will absolutely love the tranquil views from their very own beach, which has its own barbecue pavilion, Serenity Bay BBQ, and watering hole, Blue Hole Bar.

And guests can head over to the Nature Trail, where they’ll discover Eleuthera’s beautiful scenery leading to the easternmost end of the island, taking in the incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean. Let’s RUSH! at Disney Lookout Cay

Welcome back to our exploration of Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point! Here, beloved Disney entertainment merges with vibrant Bahamian culture. How? Let’s find out!

Local Junkanooes sound a conch shell in Rush! A Junkanoo Celebration at Disney Lookout Cay, introducing guests and their families to the signature festival of The Bahamas filled with colorful parades of dancing and music. Follow along, and guests will be invited to join in a parade to the Goombay Cultural Center, where Mickey Mouse and friends will join the celebration!

Over at the Play-Play Pavilion, the Disney Fun in the Sun Beach Bash is in full swing. Guests will have the chance to play fun games along with Disney friends at this beach party, all to the sound of Bahamian renditions of Disney tunes arranged and performed by Bahamian artists.

From Goofy’s Good Day Limbo to Pluto’s Pineapple Ring Toss and Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Water Brigade, the whole family will have a blast!

Guests should listen up when they’re at Disney Lookout Cay – the music was brought to life by musicians and artists from across Eleuthera and The Bahamas. During their visit, guests can listen for a new original song, “Ery’ting Cool,” produced in collaboration with Walt Disney Imagineering and two local producers.

When guests see Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Pluto, Chip ‘n’ Dale at Disney Lookout Cay, they should be sure to check out their brand-new, tropical looks created by Bahamian fashion designer Theodore Elyett. These couture designs embody the spirit of Junkanoo with their print, patterns and textures that include natural Bahamian materials like raffia.

Surprise! Anger Joins Pixar Fest 2024 at Disneyland

Sure, we gave a look at the more than 20 characters to see at Pixar Fest 2024 at Disneyland Resort, but there’s a new addition coming that we couldn’t wait to share with guests - Anger from Pixar Animation Studios’ “Inside Out” films is joining the celebration just in time for “Inside Out 2”!

Beginning June 14 – the same day “Inside Out 2” comes to theaters – Anger and his fiery spirit will appear at the Pixar Pier Band Shell in Disney California Adventure Park, adding even more excitement to this year’s Pixar Fest and it’s amazing parade, nighttime spectacular, themed treats and drinks, and more.

Pixar Fest, which is happening now through Aug. 4 at Disneyland Resort, is the place to be for fans of all things Pixar, especially if they have favorite characters. And there are many firsts this year.

At the Pixar Pals Playtime Party in Disneyland Park, guests can meet (for the first time at Disneyland Resort) Ember and Wade from “Elemental” and Luca and Alberto from “Luca.” Also, in Disney California Adventure Park, guests may be able to see Mr. Incredible or Elastigirl from “The Incredibles” in their retro suits (for the first time) at the Hollywood Backlot.

Disneyland Resort Reservation

We will be making updates to our Disneyland Resort Vacation Packages and Room Only reservation policies beginning June 6, 2024.

Changes to Disneyland Resort Walt Disney Travel Company Vacation Packages Policies:

•Disneyland Resort Vacation Package reservations are fully refundable within 24 hours of booking, if booked 72 hours or more prior to posted check-in time (the “24-Hour Booking Policy”).

The WDTC package policies are changing so that the full price of the package becomes non-refundable at 3 days (instead of 4 days) prior to arrival.

No changes may be made to the Travel ePackage, including, without limitation, Disneyland Resort admission tickets, 3 days or less prior to Guest arrival.

The updated Disneyland Resort Walt Disney Travel Company vacation package cancellation policy is as follows:

~For cancellations made 30 days or more prior to Guest arrival - amounts paid (minus cancellation fees assessed by third party hotels or other suppliers, non-refundable travel protection plan costs, and other amounts owed) will be refunded, subject to the 24-Hour Booking Policy

~For cancellations made 4 days to 29 days prior to Guest arrival - amounts paid (minus a cancellation fee of $200 per package and minus any cancellation fees assessed by third party hotels or other suppliers, non-refundable travel protection plan costs, and other amounts owed) will be refunded, subject to the 24-Hour Booking Policy

~For cancellations made 3 days or less prior to Guest arrival or for no-shows - the full price of the package (including Disneyland Resort admission tickets and all other components of the package) is non-refundable, subject to the 24-Hour Booking Policy

•Travel ePackage containing Disneyland Resort admission tickets, travel itinerary and digital vouchers for Magical Extras will be delivered electronically to Guest’s linked MyDisney account 3 days prior to Guest arrival instead of 4 days prior to Guest arrival.

Changes to Disneyland Resort Room Only Policies:

•Disneyland Resort Room Only reservations are fully refundable within 24 hours of booking, if booked 72 hours or more prior to posted check-in time (the “24-Hour Booking Policy”).

Let’s take a tour and learn all about this paradise full of incredible natural wonders.

💫Explore Lighthouse Point

Lighthouse Point is a locally beloved stretch of coastline and rock structures on the southernmost point of Eleuthera, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the clear, turquoise waters of The Bahamas. Disney Cruise Line chose this treasured destination to connect guests from around the world with the vibrant culture of The Bahamas.

💫Pretty in Pink

No filter needed! Prepare to pose on these pink sand beaches, which guests will find all over Eleuthera’s shores. The pink color comes from crushed coral and fragments of shells that mix with the island’s soft, white sand. One of the best places in Eleuthera to see pink sand beaches? Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point!

💫Pass the Pineapple!

All over Disney Lookout Cay, guests will find hints of an important part of Eleuthera’s history: the pineapple. Eleuthera is known for its long history of pineapple farming, being one of only a few in all The Bahamas with the distinct red soil. Pineapple farming is such an important part of Eleuthera’s history that every year, the island hosts the world-famous Pineapple Festival, bringing visitors and communities together to celebrate the harvest season.

💫A HOLE Lot of Water

Let’s hop on over to Rock Sound, Eleuthera, where guests will find the Ocean Hole, a naturally forming blue hole that Bahamians believe connects to the ocean through 300,000-year-old caves. Many Rock Sound residents learned how to swim in this beautiful hole, which has a higher salt content that makes it more buoyant than sea water. Some locals say this beautiful space also has incredible, natural healing properties! Ocean Hole and Lighthouse Point Beach both share amazing limestone rock structures, another part of the extraordinary terrain on this beautiful island.

Blue Hole is available as one of many opportunities to explore the beauty of Eleuthera in Disney Lookout Cay's local Eco Tour port adventures.

💫Cave of Wildlife Wonders

Not far from Ocean Hole, a natural rock structure called Cathedral Cave has soaring, wide ceilings, cascading tree roots and glittering filtered sunlight. This popular tourist attraction for visitors and Bahamians alike is home to native Bahamian wildlife.

Guests will learn about Bahamian wildlife like this on the beautiful nature trail at Disney Lookout Cay, where they’ll find bronze sculptures of native animals. Plus, Cathedral Cave is also available to visit during Disney Lookout Cay's port adventures, including the South Eleuthera Eco and Cultural Tour and the South Eleuthera Eco and Historical Tour.

💫The Glass Window Bridge

One of the most recognizable landmarks in all The Bahamas is on Eleuthera: the Glass Window Bridge. This once natural bridge of land separates the Atlantic Ocean from the stunning, peaceful waters of the Exuma Sound and the 700 islands of the archipelago of The Bahamas. Eleutheran artist Kevin Cooper painted this famous natural wonder, and guests can find his artwork hung in the cabanas and available for purchase as a lithograph to take home as a souvenir from Disney Lookout Cay.

It’s time to talk Tiana’s Bayou Adventure merch!

Recently, we announced that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open at Magic Kingdom Park in Florida on June 28, and now it’s time to talk all a-bayou-t the new merchandise guests can bring home.

The merchandise journey began with Walt Disney Imagineering in 2021, where a team of Imagineers weaved together the story of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure with breathtaking concept art and inspiration from immersion trips to New Orleans. Through connecting with the people, culture, food, and of course, music of New Orleans, the team were able to guide the merchandise creative designers to develop authentic products that bring the story of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to life for all Guests.

Guests have probably heard the phrase “shop until you drop,” but for this ride and its iconic 50-foot-plummet, they’re going to want to shop before and after they drop. From clothes to home goods, tasty treats and more, there’s something for everyone.

✨It’s a Joyful Celebration with Bayou Apparel

Find new ‘fits for the whole family with attire featuring the logo for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, as well as Princess Tiana, Louis and some of their new critter friends.

Guests can outfit themselves from head to toe with fireflies, log flumes and fun with the classic adult Spirit Jersey and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure ear headband. And guests are going to need a Louis Cuddleez Plush. Look at his sweet smiling face!

✨Check out that adorable Interactive Firefly! Just like the fireflies in Walt Disney Animation Studios' “The Princess and the Frog,” these little friends love to see other fireflies out and about – they will light up when they’re near each other to say hello.

Before guests hop in their log to take a trip into the bayou, they can’t forget the water resistant pouch to keep their phone dry.

Guests can store all their new goodies in a Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Loungefly Mini Backpack featuring Princess Tiana, Naveen, Mama Odie and Louis.

In addition to those adorable critter plushes, guests can bring home a Tiana plush doll ready for adventure in her new outfit. For fans of that beautiful Tiana Foods tower, this figurine featuring Tiana, Naveen and a few critter friends is the perfect way to add lagniappe (that’s a little something extra!) to their shelves.

Just like Princess Tiana, guests can save up to make their dreams come true with a Restaurant Fund Coffee Can. Before they start filling it up with their loose change, they should be sure to enjoy the sweet chocolate coins inside.

✨Tiana’s Foods Treats
Princess Tiana is known best for three things: entrepreneurship, community and good food. Guests can sample some delicious eats themselves with a collection of consumables inspired by her culinary successes, like the Mardi Gras Popcorn, the Bananas Foster Milk Chocolate Bar inspired by the New Orleans classic, green apple lollipop and more.

✨Bring Home the Spice of Life
When Disney Animation filmmakers were dreaming up “The Princess and the Frog,” they took inspiration from legendary New Orleans restaurateur Leah Chase for the character of Princess Tiana.

As part of the merchandise for Tiana’s new attraction, Walt Disney World will be the first place outside of Dooky Chase’s Restaurant to sell spices from Leah’s family business.

For fans of Disney Animation's "The Princess and the Frog,” there’s even more merchandise celebrating Tiana’s story as she brought her dreams to life. This beautiful jewelry and new signature headband reminiscent of Princess Tiana’s crown are just as pretty as a magnolia in May.

Guests can add a little art deco inspo to their home with beautiful decor featuring patterns of lily pads and Princess Tiana herself.

✨Shop Before and After You Drop
Starting June 28, guests can find the collections for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Disney Animation’s “The Princess and the Frog”-inspired merchandise at the Emporium at Magic Kingdom.

And, shortly after the attraction debuts, the merchandise will hop over to Critter Co-Op in Frontierland where those musical critters Tiana made friends with in the bayou like to hang out in their free time. Guests may even spot some of their charming makeshift instruments constructed from natural materials and some human-made found objectsthroughout the shop. Guests should keep their mobile device handy, because they can use Merchandise Mobile Checkout at both the Emporium and Critter Co-Op.

Guests can also find some of the tasty treats at the Main Street Confectionary. Mmmm-mm! Not to mention, select items will also be available on DisneyStore.com at a later date.

First Look at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Treats

We’re almost there! Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens June 28, 2024, at Magic Kingdom Park and to celebrate, the culinary teams have put together some tasty bites inspired by Princess Tiana from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “The Princess and the Frog” and this exciting new attraction.

This combination of new delights, like the Hot Honey Chicken with Sweet Potato Fries, and returning favorites, like Tiana's Chantilly Cake, will be available when the attraction opens later this month on June 28, so guests should get ready to bring the thrills, fun, and their appetite.

If guests want to add a taste of New Orleans to their own cooking at home, we’ve got them covered with Mama Odie’s Hot Sauce and Dooky Chase’s Seasonings available in Gumbo Base, Seafood Seasoning, Meat Seasoning, and Fried Chicken Seasoning flavors.

What makes these seasonings so unique is this is the first time they will be available outside of Dooky Chase’s Restaurant in New Orleans. This restaurant was owned and operated by the legendary Leah Chase – whose story was one of the inspirations for the character of Princess Tiana! These items will be available at the Emporium starting June 28 and Critter Co-Op once it opens.

For any coffee lovers out there, there’s also a new Joffrey’s blend guests can bring home with them! Disney Tiana Bayou Beignet is a medium-roasted flavored coffee with flavor notes of honey and powdered sugar for a sweet sip. Guests can pick up their own bag at Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Co. at The Landing at Disney Springs or at Joffrey’s website.

Room Reveal! Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows

Recently we announced new details about the new Island Tower addition at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. This week marks the start of bookings, so we’re sharing a first look inside the guest rooms!

Projected to open on December 17, 2024, the proposed 10-story tower will feature a variety of room types, each brimming with original artwork inspired by the Polynesian Islands, wayfinding and the natural elements – earth, water, wind and sky. Each guest room will also feature stunning custom pieces inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios film, Moana.

And like all Disney Vacation Club properties, each accommodation will tout just-like-home amenities to make guests’ stay extra comfortable.

The Perfect Stay for Two

With inspiration from the stars and the sky that the wayfinders used for celestial navigation, the bright and airy duo studios will offer the perfect retreat for two.

Sensational Studios for Families of Four

Celebrating the lush flora and fauna of the islands, the deluxe studios will sleep up to four and include a first-of-its-kind feature for Disney Vacation Club deluxe studios – a dishwasher! The deluxe studios in the Island Tower will have a new layout, including a cozy seating area across from the kitchenette.

One- & Two-Bedroom Villas for the Entire Family

Guests and their families and friends will be able to spread out in a one- or two-bedroom villa, sleeping up to five and nine, respectively. Through unique artwork, each villa will showcase a voyager’s journey both on land and under the sea. Embracing the beauty of water or earth, these spaces will feature a kitchen with full-size appliances, a dining area, a washer and dryer, and an outdoor patio area.

Introducing NEW Two-Bedroom Penthouse Villas

Disney Vacation Club will introduce a brand-new type of accommodation in Island Tower: two-bedroom penthouse villas. Themed after the calming balance between water and the islands, the stunning villas will sleep up to eight and boast a spacious living room, and spectacular views of the Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom Park from an expansive patio balcony.

Sustainable Design Details at the Island Tower

Several features within guest rooms contribute to the Island Tower’s sustainable design, in line with Disney’s 2030 environmental goals. For example, in addition to the convenience that comes with the first-ever dishwashers in the tower’s studios, they also contribute to our goal of minimizing waste by reducing the need for plastic utensils and single-use dishware. Guests might also be surprised to know the beautiful, plush rugs and carpets inside guest rooms are made from mostly recycled plastic bottles woven into fine yarn that feels like silk.

•June 4: Beginning today, Disney Vacation Club members can make rental reservations by contacting Member Services at (800) 800-9800. Members will be able to make points-based reservations at a later date.
