Carly Schoening Original Song Tribute To Our Veterans
One of the best parts of the Vacation Angel Network is the sense of community among our members. One of our members, also great friends, shared their daughter Carly's original song with me. She's just 16, a junior from Dryden, WA, and this is her tribute to our Veterans. Worth a watch today.

Check out this wonderful video with Aesha Jean Scott, star of Bravo TV's Below Deck Mediterranean, who just stopped by Lake Chelan to help us raise money for a family that could truly use some support.
The Vacation Angel Network has donated a property at the lake for a three day getaway. We are doing a silent auction of the getaway to raise funds. We are offering any available 3 days - no black-outs to a lucky family or group who wins the bid. There are two identical side by side houses - so you can team up with another family for a perfect socially-distanced getaway.

The value of this getaway is about $2,000 but - if you met this incredible family and saw the struggles they are going through, and how they are responding with such grace and conviction, you would realize that the true value of this three day getaway is priceless.
So, please don't hesitate to bid the price up higher. 100% of the proceeds will go to help this family.

I'll leave you with a quote from Christopher Robinson Schweitzer, one of the earliest settlers in the Chelan Valley, recalling the nascent days of our community:

Our communities are bigger now, but the sentiment remains.
