The sun was shining again and it was a lovely day out at the market in St Jean. Great produce, amazing bread and cheeses , a cafe outside watching the world go by. Just what i needed after all the rain we’ve had!

Loving the Indian sunmer temps here in the Charente maritime. Its October 12 th , its 27 degrees and the pool is gorgeous. However couldn’t help myself put out a few autumnal decs.

This years school production was a jaunt through the ages , Eth was a dancer ? Not sure why but he had a lovely time , also this years school report is in and considering his French still needs some work he’s done an amazing job ! We’re very proud 🥰

Well Sian did us proud this morning incorporating the fabulous artisan bakery in Lupsault on our walk. He uses a heritage grain grown on his ancestral 35 hectares farm and an organic sour dough starter instead of yeast. I’ve just wolfed down 2 slices of fruit and walnut bread which was Devine! Highly recommend a visit. 🥰

Back at the beach today at Châtelaillon-Plage after a long winter away. Absolutely beautiful with plenty of seafood, sun and sand. Although the boys went for burgers !! Yum 🦀
