Our Story
The World Championships of Performing Arts is the only international performing arts talent competition and educational experience of its kind held annually in Hollywood/Los Angeles Area. This is the innovative, official 'World Talent Contest' with esteemed entertainment industry professionals invited to judge, conduct seminars and sign talent. Delegations come from around the World, to learn from industry professionals in the WORLDSTARS Boot Camp conducted during the eight day event. The week starts with a Parade of Nations and ends with a Worldwide Webcast of the finalist competing for the title of Champion of the World.
Prizes include scholarships valued at over a quarter of a million dollars from schools like New York Film Academy and New York Conservatory. A recording contract, artist development scholarships and other continuing education scholarships for intensive programs are also some of the prizes to be awarded. Each year prizes may change and additional prizes are provided by sponsors in addition to Grand Champions- trophies, Over all Division Winners- plaques, Preliminary Winners- gold, silver and bronze medals.
