I wish I could spend every day of my life at this beach in an eternal summer 🌞

I first went to this 'secret' beach in 2016 in July & it was EMPTY

I returned in shoulder season, September 2023, at it was PACKED (as you can see)!

I love that people are discovering beautiful places, and it still felt quite rustic and remote - no beach chairs, umbrellas, or beach clubs & no charge to enter - which is RARE these days in Albania guys - but it felt weird seeing so many people there...

But a part of me felt good that I got there before everyone knew about it hehe 🩵

Brrruschetta ❤️

Being vegan in Puglia (a place where vegan and vegetarian options don't really exist) was surprisingly easy - and I still ate SO well - like I felt full on emotions after eating this meal.

The trick is discovering what dishes are naturally vegan - there are quite a few - and asking waiters to take off dairy & meat (say you're allergic if they look annoyed). Also pretty much every gelateria has multiple dairy free options, it's epic.

Side note - have you experienced an emotional reaction after eating in Italy or elsewhere? I've eaten a lot of amazing food all over the world but only in Italy did it make me emotional 🥹

Pro tip for dealing with crowds in an Italian summer - avoid sandy beaches and head to rocky coastlines like this!
