Southern Curves Southern Curves offers modeling/acting workshops once a month, and hosts unique industry events and megashoots for curvy talent throughout the year.

Southern Curves encourages women of all sizes to live a healthy lifestyle and embrace their inner talent and outer beauty with modeling/acting workshops, megashoots and plus-size industry events. The Southern Curves workshops are offered at an apprentice and advanced level. The apprentice workshop is for undiscovered talent that want to jumpstart their career in modeling and/or acting. The worksho

p teaches industry do’s and don’ts, plus-size modeling poses, techniques for delivering the best monologue, personal branding, runway, and much more. In addition to an intense seven hours of lectures and fun activities, the apprentice workshop also includes a Southern Curves workbook, a model bag stuffed with goodies, and a brunch plus healthy snacks. With the workshop at a $375 value, students definitely get a bang for their buck with a $149 tuition fee. The advanced course is offered to those who have taken the apprentice workshop or have at least one year of experience. It includes challenging acting/modeling exercises, a mock casting call, a 1-minute audition tape, a special guest speaker, a certificate of completion, lunch, and an opportunity to network with influential professionals in the industry at the Southern Curves Networking Social. The Southern Curves Networking Social is a quarterly event that is exclusively for advanced course graduates and specially invited professionals. At a $600 value, students pay only $199.
