Recipes given : Vanilla cake, Swiss meringue buttercream, Italian meringue buttercream, American buttercream.
Demo – How to make American buttercream ( no baking, we will be using a 9 inch marble cake from Jusco bakery)
100% hands-on : Introduction to piping tip/ nozzle. Making icing of different consistency. Colour mixing, handling piping bags. Crumb coat and how to iced a cake. Making flowers – Normal rose, ribbon rose, David Austin rose, chrysanthemums, carnation, daisies, gerbera daisies, Russian tip flowers, leaf and filler flowers. Making side design – basketweave. Student will take back the cake. All ingredients provided. Student need to bring apron, lots of tissues, a 11 inch cake board and 11 inch cake box.

Tumis bwg putih & leek in butter & oil. Masukkn broccoli & ubi dadu. Goreng sekejap. Tambah air msk till lembut. Add stok ayam, air, whip cream & cheddar cheese. Garam, pepper. Blend jika nak.

3rd attempt .. a success ! Baked in Malaysia 27C kitchen. Adapted from https://madcreationshub.com
1 cup warm water (not boiling hot)
1 tablespoon honey
(inulin artificial sweetener won't work)
2 teaspoons instant dried yeast (7g)
2 large eggs, at room temperature
Pinch of salt
2/3 cup (80g) almond meal
(can substitute with flax seed meal but it gives a funny taste)
1/2 cup oat fiber flour (50g) (not oat flour)
1 1/4 cup vital wheat gluten flour (180g) (no substitute)
70 g soft salted butter,cubed
1/2 tsp xanthan gum, optional
Combine honey and yeast with water; leave in a warm place until yeast activates. For about 15 minutes.
Add all ingredients to mixer, including activated yeast. Using dough hook, knead dough for 10 minutes (dough will Not be smooth because of the almond meal).
Oil a 19 cm x 11 cm or a slightly bigger bread pan.
Shape & put dough into pan, seam side down.
leave in a warm place for 45 minutes to 1 hour until dough has risen. (Put in an off oven with a cup of boiling water). Do not exceed 1 hour or it will be overproofed.
At 45 minutes, Preheat the oven to 170℃.
(I baked at 180C, turns out quite dark)
Bake for 40-45 minutes. Rotate pan halfway. If the top is too brown, cover loosely with aluminum foil. Once baked, let it cool down before slicing.

10 keping roti
1/2 cawan mentega
Kastad :
2 cawan susu penuh krim
1 cawan krim putar
1 sd teh vanilla
3 biji telur saiz besar
3 biji telur kuning saiz besar
3 sd besar gula halus
Gula hangus :
1 cawan gula halus
2 sd besar air
Bakar suhu 180C selama 40 minit

Ingredients - for 6 or 7 ramekins :
10 pcs of bread
1/2 cup butter
Custard :
2 cups full cream milk
1 cup whipping cream
1 tsp vanilla
3 large eggs
3 large egg yolks
3 tbspn castor sugar
Burnt sugar :
1 cup castor sugar
2 tbspn water
Bake at 180C for 40 minutes
