Warning, there is a lot of pictures of the temples that may look the same but a closer look reveals more detail.

Today we started off by going to a mystery place to watch the sun rise at 5 am, the first 16 photos are a progression of the sun rising. As the sun finally showed itself, we realised that we were sitting right on the inside of the famous Angkor Wat temple. To avoid the crowds we went to Ta Prohm next, then Prasat Kravan, back to Angkor Wat, then Bayon, after which we went to the massiv Angkor Thom which was a 9 square kilometer city with multiple temples inside, and a return to Angkor Wat for the sunset.

Today we had our last breakfast in Vietnam before we headed off to Siem Reap in the Kingdom of Cambodia. We left another amazing guide, Tsing behind us. We got to Cambodia and immediately started our tour of the ancient temples. Sorry I forgot to get the names of these temples, I will get the names of tomorrow. We finished our day watching the sun set and the temple turn golden. What a great way to start our time in the Kingdom

Today we started by touring a confucius temple in Saigon city. We then started our river boat tour to see the Mekong Delta and the old ways of living. We started by seeing an old brick factory where they used local clay to make bricks that they used to use to make houses. Then we went to a coconut factory where they made various products using coconut, I was too tired to take any pictures sorry. We then had our first tuk tuk trip to eat lunch. We were served a whole elephant fish where we then made our own spring rolls using the fish. Pictured is Logan's new found friend who followed him and listened to his commands as he gave him the left over fish treats. We then took a boat ride back to our hotel where we instantly crashed

Today we went to the historic Cu Chi tunnels where we started off watching anti-American propaganda films which were interesting to say the least. We then walked around the compound where we saw different traps they used, how they hid in the tunnels, and how they cooked without being seen in the tunnels. We even crawled through a short segment of the tunnels. After which we went to the Reunification Palace. Then we went to the Remembrance Museum about the American-Vietnam war. The Museum was very disturbing, however we were told it was a slight exaggeration and some pictures were used out of context to make the Americans seem worse. The Agent Orange part was the most disturbing... no pictures were taken of the museum. We then returned to the hotel where we embarked on our vespa tour of Saigon. We road on the back of three vespas as we toured local street vendors, and experienced the Saigon night life. the vespa tour was easily one of our favorite parts of Vietnam as well as the food tour in Hanoi.

Today we departed from our hotel in Hanoi and drove to Halong Bay, one of the new seven natural wonders of the world. We had two half days and a night on the Azalea cruise ship. The scenery was absolutely stunning. On our first half day we went to the island where King Kong was shot and went through old tunnels that a general had the wives, children, and old people stay during wars. After which we returned to the boat and enjoyed a five course dinner meal with traditional music being played in the background.

Today was split into two parts, part 1 was a food tour and part 2 a city tour. For the food tour a local chef took us around to different restaurants and markets showing us the local cuisine and how they buy their ingredients. We learned that recipes are passed down from parents to sons and kept in the family. Daughters are not aloud to know the recipes because they will marry into another family. For the city tour we visited a Confucius temple, the Temple of Literature which was the first university in Vietnam. Then we we went to Ho Chi Min Mausoleum and his former residence. After that we went to Hoan Kiem Lake where the Ngoc Son Temple is.

Today we traveled from Singapore to Vietnam via plane. We got our first taste of what traffic is like in Vietnam and were given ten minutes of instruction on how to cross the street, you must be confident, brave, and must never step back! We ate dinner at our hotel, the food was amazing and super cheap. Logan had beef pho, Janice had a catfish dish were you rolled your own spring rolls with the fish, vegtables, and sauces, and Gil had a pork dish.

Today we went with Josh on a hike around the central water reserve. We saw a group of monkeys, different lizards, tons of birds, and other flora y fauna. We then walked to a main park, "Singapore does Central Park" as dubbed by Janice. At night we went to their Night Safari, aka their zoo for nocturnal animals. We were beat by the end of the night and could barely make it to bed.

Our third day in Singapore we ventured off on our own for the first time without Jessica or Josh. We started by taking the bus to the National Museum of Singapore where we learned all about the history and culture. We then went to lunch at a hot spot, we had absolutely no idea what we were doing... We took large bowls and put different vegetables, noodles, meats, and other unknown foods into them. They were then weight and cooked into the soup depicted. We then wondered around Orchard road, which is just one big mall, it was too crazy and overwhelming to take any pictures of, maybe when we come back I'll have the guts to stop and take pictures. For NYE we went back to the gardens by the bay and Merlion park. The crowds were absolutely crazy! Throughout the night different light shows, water shows, and fireworks went off. We left early and were surrounded by crowds. It felt like we were over crowded cattle going through a small walk way. It was absurd.

Day 2 in Singapore saw us venture down to Little India, where we visited many temples. Then we bused down to Arab street where we had lunch. Janice must've ate a too much because at the end of lunch the bench she was sitting on broke... Today was much hotter and therefore was a shorter day
