Sometimes called "the Tibet of Le Marche" (region in Italy):
🥾 Ecco uno dei Forti più affascinanti del Cammino, il Borgo di Elcito, Chiamato anche il Tibet delle Marche, si tratta di un piccolo borgo arroccato su uno sperone roccioso a 824 m di altezza alle pendici del monte la Pereta, non lontano dal San Vicino. È ciò che resta di un antico castello eretto a difesa dell'abbazia benedettina di Valfucina.

Our story
Hello! My name is Michelle Loftus, I’m the owner of The Loftus Guides, and I’m here to help you plan your group tour to the spectacular region of south-western France, variously known as Languedoc, Languedoc-Roussillon, Occitania and “the other Provence”.
Bordered by the Mediterranean in the south and the Pyrenees to the west, this less visited part of France is in fact a very well-kept secret! While there are famous sites to explore, including the World Heritage-listed City of Carcassonne, there’s so much more to discover. The beautiful, timeless landscapes of rolling hills, vineyards, castle ruins and medieval villages coupled with a strong, independant cultural and language tradition all combine to make this the France that dreams are made of. Add the food, the wine and of course the sunshine to make it all wrapped up into an experience like no other- that it will be my absolute delight to share with you.
Together, we can plan retreats of any kind for coaches and retreat leaders. From business masterminds to health and yoga retreats, mindfulness coaching and life-coaching to artist and writer retreats- we’ll find you the perfect venue and help you plan every detail. If language is a barrier- I’ll take care of everything. If you think you want an assistant along to help you direct the retreat and take care of all the details- I’ve got you covered.
Perhaps you have a group tour in mind- for your club or association or even just a group of friends? For gastronomy, history, hiking, nature, art, music, sightseeing and time to relax and enjoy that special something that the French seem to have in their lives, whilst staying somewhere just plain gorgeous- look no further!
I will take care of you! Get in touch today, to begin planning your journey of a lifetime to southern France. :)
