After moving to Tallahassee to attend college at FSU in 2004, I quickly realized that the "Forgotten Coast" of Florida is one of the greatest fishing hot spots in the entire state. Not to mention, it's still relatively unknown, hence the name "The Forgotten Coast." In 2006, I began working as first mate about the 46' fishing and diving vessel "Pressure Drop," formerly of Carrabelle Charters LLC,

with Capt. Kamen while going to school at Florida State and obtained a Captain's license in 2009. At that point I began running trips of my own and never looked back. After leaving Carrabelle Charters in 2009 in the wake of the BP Oil Spill, I took a hiatus from "for hire" fishing and focused solely on personal recreational fishing. In January 2014, RockTheBoatCharters was created to share the knowledge, skills and techniques I have learned over the last decade fishing the waters from St. We focus primarily in the areas of St. Marks, Lanark, Carrabelle, and Panacea, but fish everywhere in between or beyond.
