Become a Co-Owner of I Like Local
If you have been following I Like Local lately you have seen that we shared more about what we are up to. Today is finally the day we make our exciting next move.
We're excited to announce that I Like Local will be the first travel marketplace for local experiences that transitions its ownership to its users: the communities we work with, our travelers, local partners, everyone who would like to be a part of this. With this, we aim to prove that organizations can be run more sustainably by focusing on maximizing impact and conscious growth rather than focusing on profit maximization at all costs.
You can join our mission too by becoming a co-owner of I Like Local and together building a more equal and fair travel industry with us. For more information, visit https://www.impact.i-likelocal.com/become-co-owner.

Rekha's Authentic Nepalese Cooking Class
"Last year while traveling through Nepal, I had the pleasure of joining Rekha and her husband DB in a cooking class. I found the experience on the international travel platform, I Like Local, that connects travelers with locals who are offering travel experiences, whether or not that's a Cooking Class or Homestay, and invite people into their homes to learn about the culture and the food. I had the pleasure of spending two hours with Rekha and DB learning how to make these delicious Momos that I have shared with you in the video today. Sadly because borders were closed, this experience was not available in person. But Rekha has recently put the experience online so you could be in your home and join this experience if you'd like." - The Altruistic Traveller
