And many, many more small projects! During the summer of 2016, three friends (two of whom had just graduated from New Milford High School) were out for breakfast one morning at the 'Windmill Diner' in New Milford. They were just chatting away like any other day

talking about what they had planned later on, when one of the friends, Michael, had brought up how slow work had been for him at the local supermarket, and how sick he was getting of it. These three young men were brighter than most when it came to how life outside of school really worked; self efficiency and street smarts were second nature to them. Michael made all of these points to the other young men, Tom, (who had just graduated with Michael) and Ayden, and suggested that the three get take care of themselves and start their own small business. However, although Ayden had already been running his own business since he was 14 and Tom along with Michael had much experience in woodworking, lawn care etc., Tom suggested it was too early for them to be taken seriously if they were to just start up out of the blue with seemingly no experience. By the end of their breakfast the three friends had decided to go into full gear the next summer, and to spend the next year building a portfolio and gathering as much experience as possible. So over the next year Ayden, Michael and Tom had worked hard, and learned a lot, and are now using all they know to try and make some extra money, to make connections in the real world, and also to possibly help make some people's lives a little easier along the way.
