To start off on our [ad]venture we have printed our favourite and popular design motifs onto fabric panels and bags to over embroider in the thread of your choice. Morgan & Swanberg is essentially a celebration of our love of the the needle arts taught to us by our beloved grandmothers and mixed with a little francophile influence in the form of single colour (usually redwork) embroidery. We find
inspiration for our motifs everywhere from the fauna and flora of our rural surroundings, to fine art & children’s books, to historical & contemporary fashion, textile embellishment, prints, & embroideries from the past. Each design is worked to be applicable to embroidery lovers of all levels of skill from fledgling to the accomplished.
