December marks the beginning of the "season" in Montañita, Ecuador. This means the weather begins to scorch, surf begins to pump, the party never stops, and everybody in South America heads to the beach-town-that-never-sleeps to get amongst it. Put simply, s**t gets real. I spent four months there last season and made it out alive, barely. If you're in South America or thinking about going you should definitely check out Montañita. Love it or hate it you'll never forget it ;)
