Spent the last day on the cruise enjoying the sun, pool and drinks from the lime and coconut. Hopefully I can bring some of this warmth back to Chicago with me tomorrow!

I truly had a perfect day at coco cay yesterday. We started out the morning on South Beach and visited the floating bar. The weather was perfect, with lots of sun.

After lunch at the Chill Grill, we moved to the Oasis Lagoon, the largest freshwater pool in the Bahamas. And ended the day with a beautiful sunset back onboard the Odyssey.

I first booked my sailing on the Odyssey of the Seas when they released rooms for her Inaugural sailing in 2020… I’ve rebooked her twice since then and I am THRILLED to finally be onboard the Odyssey.

She is a stunning ship, brand new, and even better than I had imagined. And with this sailing I can finally say I have sailed on every class of ship from Excited to see the first hand and to be a part of

I’m trying two new to me resorts for a long weekend at first stop: Animal Kingdom lodge, and we’ve already had a great view from our balcony of two giraffes and some zebras!

Later this week I’ll be heading to the newly reopened Port Orleans French Quarter, very excited for some Mickey Beignets!!

Spending time with good friends, making memories, joining a sing-a-long in Country Bears Jamboree, and even trying a few new things (my first Mickey balloon!). I’m so glad that I was able to be a part of this historic moment in Disney history. Disney magic is real.

I got to experience the final hour of the Passholder Squeak Peak for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. It was SO GREAT! We rode the ride twice, enjoyed Le Creperie for dinner, and still made it out in time to enjoy the final showing of Epcot Forever. This was a very successful first day of our 50th celebration trip!
