The Faro Nautical Week has begun! ⚓️⛵️🛶🌊
This event aims to reinforce Faro's visibility as a nautical destination among residents and tourists.
The general program of this initiative has activities dedicated to the school community and seniors in the municipality, and actions and experiences aimed at residents and visitors in general.
The resident population as well as foreigners visiting the city this week will have the opportunity to get to know the existing offers through various experiences with special conditions, ranging from boat trips, canoeing, sailing, surfing or stand up paddle lessons, gastronomic experiences, kitesurfing, exhibitions, visits to museums and the Cabo lighthouse of Santa Maria.

🎭 The 2024 edition of the famous Loulé carnival will take to the streets on the 11th, 12th and 13th of February and the preparations for the festivities are already visible. The parade along the Avenida José da Costa Mealha will consist of 14 floats and more than 600 extras who will embody the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that include, for example, the eradicating poverty, promoting gender equality, quality education, climate action and communities. Besides the famous floats there will also be Brazilian dancers, local entertainment groups and entertainers in the parade. Great fun for the whole family.
Tickets are set at €2 and will be available on the day.
