In the heart of Bali, a regal farewell unfolds as the Ngaben cremation ceremony honors the late Tjokorda Bagus Santaka, son of the King of Ubud. 💜

The purple buffalo leads the procession, a symbol of strength and resurgence, followed by the majestic Naga Banda (dragon), and Waddhu (tower), guiding the soul on its heavenly journey. 🌈

In a moment of profound solemnity, a Pedanda high priest brings the dragon effigy to life with an arrow to its heart – months of expert craftsmanship set alight – a sacred ritual rarely witnessed. 🙏

Big news: dragons are real. Well, Komodo dragons are. These vast lizards – the world's largest, may not breathe fire, but they're almost as terrifying as a mythical dragon. #Komodos have strong, slashing claws they use to climb trees when they're young and as weapons once they've matured. At up to 10 feet long, Komodo dragons are apex predators on the islands of Komodo, Rinca, Flores, and Gili Motang in #WonderfulIndonesia. Komodo dragons are an excellent site in the wild, but be careful not to get too close. Males can reach almost 300 lbs and have a strong bite that many believe to be venomous. Despite their size and strength, climate change has pushed Komodo dragons onto the #endangeredspecies list. To help these ancient creatures survive in a changing world, visit them through a #responsibletourism or #conservation tour. Suharti is a well-known brand for local fried chicken cuisine, started cooking in 1972, and it's still serving the same recipes now. The famous Ayam Goreng Kremes (Indonesian Fried Chicken with Crunchy Bits)- Pieces of chicken are marinated in spices and then boiled or pressure cooked and then quickly fried and served with crunchy bits (kremes) made separately.
