Japan's cherry blossom season famously begins in April and lasts for around two weeks. The best places to see the blush-tinted blooms are in Maruyama Park, Mount Yishino, Himeji Castle and Fuji Five Lakes.
The earliest sakura appears in tropical Okinawa in January, the last on the northernmost island of Hokkaido in early May. What’s more, there are multiple tree varieties, each blooming at a slightly different time.

The Mosques of The World : Hassan II Mosque, Morocco 📍
This opulent mosque, built at enormous expense, is set on an outcrop jutting over the ocean with a 210m-tall minaret that's a city landmark. It's a showcase of the finest Moroccan artisanship: hand-carved stone and wood, intricate marble flooring and inlay, gilded cedar ceilings and exquisite zellige(geometric mosaic tilework) abound. It's one of two Moroccan mosques open to non-Muslims; multilanguage guided tours are conducted outside prayer times for modestly clad visitors. There’s also a small museum showcasing the craftwork involved.
Its dramatic location overhanging the ocean waves echoes verse from the Quran, which states that God’s throne was built upon the water. Believers pray on a floor that can be heated when necessary, and can feel the breeze through the retractable roof in warmer months.

Hast Imam Square (Hazrati Imam) is a religious center of Tashkent. Hast-Imam is located in the old town, within neighborhoods with the old wattle and daub houses that have experienced earthquake of 1966.

Dating back to the 14th century, the Aqsunqur Mosque stands proudly in the Egyptian capital, Cairo. Reflecting a clear Ottoman style, complete with typical Iznik tiles in the shapes of cypress trees and tulips in vases, the mosque also contains the mausoleums of its founder, Shams El-Din Aqsunqur, and his numerous sons.

Three Facts About Cappadocia 1. Three to four million years ago a series of volcanic eruptions shook the Central Anatolian area, forming what we now know as the Cappadocia fairies or ‘Cotton Castles’.
2. Cappadocia’s landscape was formed by volcanic erosion. Thick ash solidified into a soft rock, called tuff, and over time the tuff rocks eroded with wind and water, creating the iconic fairy chimneys we see today.
3. Cappadocia spans a distance of 5,000 kilometres and sits on an altitude of over 1,000 metres, cutting through three Anatolian provinces – Nevsehir, Keyseri and Nigde.

A bridge haunted by ghosts...
The most famous bridge in Prague is Charles Bridge, connecting the city’s Old Town to the Mala Strana over the Vltava River. Supposedly the bridge, which was built all the way back in the 1300s, is haunted by ghosts whose heads ended up on nearby spikes.
People claim that they have seen them wandering up and down Charles Bridge, going about their business as they please.

This little village in Cinque Terre, Italy is one you’ll recognise from all those stunning, colourful photos on Pinterest, Google, Instagram and pretty much anything related to Italy on the internet. The village does live up to its hype too! Before we visited it, it was definitely a place I’d been looking forward to seeing and so my expectations were pretty high but it surpassed it on every account.
The best view of the city is from the nearby hill (which you have to walk up some side streets from the main square to get up to but it’s actually quite an easy climb. It’s also next to the other 4 villages of Cinque Terre so you can pack in more sights while you’re there.

Köy de yutturmaca kadar yaşıyor! Ziyaret etmeden önce kesinlikle görmeyi dört gözle beklediğim bir yerdi ve bu yüzden beklentilerim oldukça yüksekti ama her açıdan onu aştı.
Şehrin en iyi manzarası yakındaki tepeden (oraya çıkmak için ana meydandan bazı ara sokaklardan yukarı çıkmanız gerekiyor ama aslında oldukça kolay bir tırmanış. Ayrıca Cinque Terre'nin diğer 4 köyünün yanında yani oradayken daha fazla turistik yer toplayabilir.

The Mosques of the World: Shah Mosque, Iran 🇮🇷📍
The acclaimed Shah Mosque stands as a landmark of decorative Persian architecture and art at the center of Isfahan’s Naqsh-e Jahan Square. Constructed in the early 17th century, the mosque features a haft rangi, or seven-color style, of tile mosaic, where pictures are painted on rectangle tiles in shades of black, white, ultramarine, turquoise, red, yellow, and fawn.

Ginzan Onsen (銀山温泉, lit. "Silver Mountain Hot Spring") is a secluded hot spring town nestled in the mountains of Yamagata Prefecture. The area originally developed around a silver mine; however, these days it is better known as one of Japan's prettiest onsen towns with historic ryokan lined up along the river.
Ginzan Onsen's traditionally styled ryokan occupy beautiful three and four story wooden buildings that, with their exposed woodwork and white plaster walls, evoke nostalgic feelings of a bygone era. There is one exception, however, in the Fujiya ryokan at the center of town, which was recently rebuilt by famous modern architect Kuma Kengo. Although purists may find it out of place, its unique modern design incorporates many of the traditional design elements, such as the same exposed wood and white plaster, of the surrounding buildings.

Wazir Khan Mosque is located in Lahore, Pakistan. It was built in the 17th century during the Mughal Empire and located at the foot of the Lahore Walls. The entrance of the mosque courtyard and the front of the building overlook the Vezir Han Square.
The Vezir Khan Mosque began to be built in 1634 during the reign of Shah Jahan and was completed in 1641. The mosque is particularly famous for its intricate faience tile work, known as kashi-kari, and interior surfaces decorated almost entirely with frescoes from the Mughal period, and is considered the most ornate mosque of the Mughal era. The mosque has 4 octagonal minarets and 5 domes.

Vezir Han Camii, Pakistan'ın Lahor kentinde bulunan bir camidir. 17. yüzyılda Babür İmparatorluğu döneminde inşa edilmiş olup Lahor Surları'nın eteklerinde yer almaktadır. Cami avlusunun girişi ve yapının ön cephesi, Vezir Han Meydanı'na bakmaktadır.
Vezir Han Camii, 1634 yılında Şah Cihan döneminde inşa edilmeye başlanmış olup 1641 yılında tamamlandı. Cami, özellikle kashi-kari olarak bilinen karmaşık fayans karo işi ve neredeyse tamamen Babür döneminden kalma fresklerle süslenmiş iç yüzeyleriyle ünlü olup Babür döneminin en süslü camisi olarak kabul edilir. Caminin sekizgen 4 minaresi ve 5 kubbesi bulunmaktadır.

Machu Picchu is a 15th-century Inca citadel located in the Eastern Cordillera of southern Peru on a 2,430-meter mountain ridge. It is located in the Machupicchu District within Urubamba Province above the Sacred Valley, which is 80 kilometers northwest of Cuzco. In 2007, Machu Picchu was voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in a worldwide internet poll.

The Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque / Ayasofya-i Kebir Cami-i Şerifi, with its innovative architecture, rich history, religious significance and extraordinary characteristics has been fighting against time for centuries, was the largest Eastern Roman Church in Istanbul. Constructed three times in the same location, it is the world’s oldest and fastest-completed cathedral. With its breathtaking domes that look like hanging in the air, monolithic marble columns and unparalleled mosaics, is one of the wonders of world’s architecture history. On July 10/2020, a Turkish top court reversed this 1934 Cabinet decree which turned Hagia Sophia Mosque into a museum, assist for its use again as a mosque after 86-year of gap. The Hagia Sophia Mosque is famous for its exterior as well as its interior. The mausoleums of Ottoman Sultans outside the building are among the first to visit. There are tombs of princes and mausoleums of Sultan Selim II, Sultan Murad III, Sultan Mehmed III, Sultan Mustafa I, and Sultan Ibrahim whose reigns followed one another.

Ayasofya-i Kebir Camii dünya mimarlık tarihinin günümüze kadar ayakta kalmış en önemli anıtları arasında yer alır.
Yapı; mimarisi, ihtişamı, büyüklüğü ve işlevselliği ile sanat dünyasında önemli bir yer tutar.
Bu muazzam eser Doğu Roma İmparatorluğu’nun İstanbul’da yapmış olduğu en büyük kilise olup aynı yerde üç kez inşa edilmiştir. İlk yapıldığında Megale Ekklesia (Büyük Kilise) olarak adlandırılmış, 5'inci yüzyıldan İstanbul'un fethine kadar Hagia Sophia (Kutsal Bilgelik) olarak isimlendirilmiştir. İmparator Konstantios tarafından 360 yılında yaptırılan Megale Ekklesia ve İmparator II. Theodosis’in 415 yılında yeniden inşa ettirdiği kilise halk ayaklanmalarında yıkılmıştır.
Kayıtlardan, iki baş mimar ile birlikte çalışan yüz mimar ve her mimarın emrinde yüz işçinin binanın yapımını 5 yıl 10 ay gibi kısa bir sürede tamamladıkları anlaşılmaktadır.
916 yıl kilise olarak ibadete açık olan yapı, Fatih Sultan Mehmed'in 1453'te İstanbul'u fethetmesiyle camiye çevrilmiştir.
Fetihten hemen sonra yapı güçlendirilerek en iyi şekilde korunmuş ve Osmanlı Dönemi ilaveleri ile birlikte cami olarak varlığını sürdürmüştür.
16'ncı ve 17'nci yüzyıllarda, caminin içine mihraplar, minber, müezzin mahfilleri, vaaz kürsüsü ve maksureler eklenmiştir.
Yapının dışına farklı dönemlerde yaptırılan minareler, medrese, sıbyan mektebi, muvakkithane, şadırvan, sebiller, güneş saatleri, mütevelli heyeti odası ile Ayasofya-i Kebir Camii, Osmanlı Dönemi'nde kompleks bir yapıya dönüştürülmüştür.
Ayasofya-i Kebir Camisi 1934 yılında müzeye dönüştürülmüş ve 2020 yılına kadar müze olarak hizmet vermiştir. 2020 yılında ise tekrar cami statüsü kazanmıştır.

There is a legend that Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) told a divine secret to Ali (as), and Ali (as) could not stand the weight of this secret so he shouted the secret into a waterless well. Then this secret was spread around every time the wind blew from the straws coming out of this well. It is believed that, to this day, Neys repeat the holy words of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). When the history of the Ney is researched, we come across that it is one of the oldest known woodwind instruments. Ney is an ancient Turkish instrument dating back to ancient times. It is a 9-knuckled wind instrument made of reed with 7 holes. Although the Ney is a reed, it is the most developed of the woodwind instruments. The richness of the sounds and harmonics is remarkable. With breathing force and lip movements, a quintet and two overlapping eights of each note can be achieved. However, in Western flutes, two eights of the main voice or an intermediate voice can be formed with the same method. What about 'Playing the Ney' or 'Blowing the Ney'? Instead of playing a musical instrument, the term blowing is used for ney. Blowing here has a figurative meaning. It takes its source from the fact that in Islam, Allah (CC) blew the human soul while creating man. The seven holes in the ney are interpreted as 'seven Esma' (seven names of Allah (CC)) in Sufi thought. In addition, during the Ottoman Empire, mental and physical diseases were treated in hospitals using the sound of water, music, and beautiful scents (along with medical treatment).
