Hello friends! Well, I was busy putting together another series while I was out riding through the Midwest and the Black Hills this summer on my way out to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. I took a look at and traced the path of “Wild Bill” Hickok… probably the most famous lawman, gambler and gunfighter of the Old West. Here’s the entire three part playlist of the series I call “Chasing Wild Bill Hickok”. I hope you enjoy it… and thanks for supporting “History on a Hog!”

Well, I finally finished Part 1 of my new series… The Newport Tower Mystery. This stone round tower sits in the middle of Newport, Rhode Island… and it is old… in fact, it is one of oldest stone structures in North America… and no seems to agree upon who built it… or when. Could it be a Viking structure? Or could it be a Knights Templar structure, erected 100 years before Columbus discovered America! Find out some answers… and thanks for watching… and for your support.

Hello friends... while waiting for the virus to subside and the weather to get warmer, I decided to put together a new episode to fill in some of the time. It’s an autobiographical look at some of my military flying experiences and aircraft I have flown. First up, an episode about my early Army days flying the AH-1F Cobra attack helicopter during the Cold War in West Germany. Hope you enjoy it! Thanks!
