Hollys bedtime Blog day 5 Lots to celebrate 🎉Clocks go back tomorrow an hour - 😍 Lots to commiserate 🥲 I am officially the proud owner of an expanded waistline 😂 I cannot believe I’m writing about day 5 already. I feel I have literally just arrived. Where is the time going 🥲 I have talked about my prebooked excursion in Kefalonia today which was absolutely amazing. Tonight I want to share my thoughts re the entertainment onboard. To bring it too life a little here is my evening, all potentially planned out, from the Horizon what’s on magazine, that is left in your room each evening. In bed, a cuppa and biscuit (your steward leaves this for you daily) and a good old read of Horizon planning the following evenings activities is a great part of the cruising experience. 5.15 Brodies individual quiz (of course) Brodies staff now ask me if I want my usual - oooops lol 6.30 Dinner MDR 7.30 Head to Manhattan for the Steve Terry Show (comedian) starting at 8pm 8-8.30 Steve Terry - Absolutely hilarious 8.30 - 9.30 Pinnacle interactive audience gameshow 9.30 Brodies Quiz 10.30 Playhouse Theatre - Electric Avenue - 80’s themed You literally walk from venue to venue and all the shows and entertainment offered follow on from each other time wise x 🙂 Entertainment this evening has been really good so far. I’m finding the 6.30 dinner worked better for me tonight. I booked a saver fare so my main dining room dining time was allocated to me. Tomorrow we are in Sicily and I’m booked on a 4x4 mount Etna experience . Apparently there is snow at the top and going to be freezing. I’ve packed a little jacket so let’s see how I get on. I wanted adventure well tomorrow is going to be an amazing one. Hollys Bedtime Bog - Day 4 - Corfu Today has to pay homage to 2 fabulous guys who won BGT 11 years ago. Richard & Adam. Tonight all passengers had the pleasure of their show in a packed out Playhouse Theatre! Just incredible. After that it was a night of dubious dance moves in the atrium in the not so Silent Disco. Oh how I love this so much 🤣 Do you too? Today though as my video was a day of adventure . If Corfu is one of your cruise ports then I hope this advice helps! Leave the cruise ship and 1.take the shuttle bus to the entrance of the cruise port Or a 15 minute walk 1. Once you arrive at the entrance of the cruise port you have representatives from A. Hop on hop off tour bus - 22 Euros pp B Hire Car C. Taxis ( do not book a taxi here, wait until you leave this building as taxis a plenty and much cheaper! D. Cruise ship shuttle to Corfu Old Town is 4 euros I took a cab to Malibu Summer Beach Club - 80 euros return - in Dassia Beach club charged 15 euros for a plush daybed and umbrella Service , food, drinks good here Water sports in beach Sea crystal clear and great for families Tomorrow Kefalonia!

The Dome

In answer to some of your questions re The Dome I posted a couple of days ago. The Pool in the Dome is heated and freshwater and the Dome is open to all ages.

Hollys Bedtime Blog - Day 4 Wow another incredible day onboard Sun Princess Today we have been in Chania in Crete, free shuttle buses take you from the port into the Centre of Chania and bring you back again which is great. As you may know Princess Arena is not ready yet so some of the shows have been transferred to the Piazza. I love the concept of the Piazza, on three floors with tiered seating on each deck. The main venues for entertainment on this voyage are ⭐️Piazza - a selection of fantastic headliner shows throughout the night, game shows and dancing ⭐️Princess Live - comedians, quizzes and karaoke ⭐️O Malleys - live band ⭐️Crooners - Piano played all evening ⭐️Good spirits at sea - cocktail experiences throughout the evening The fantastic Trawlermen are onboard and where they would have normally been in the Arena for one show as the headline entertainment for today , they have played in the Piazza and repeated their 30 minute set at 6pm, 8pm and 10pm so there was plenty of opportunity to see them play In between these times have been game shows and a Piazza showcase with Princess dancers which is also repeated so you can always see something before or after dinner. I’m finding there is always plenty to see and do during the evening. I’m finding myself watching the Piazza shows 6-7.30pm then I go for dinner then 10pm it’s crooners bar which seems the place to be before and after dinner. Crooners reminds me of the martini bar on Celebrity. It’s kind of the place to be and where many seem to hang out . It would have been great to experience the Arena dont get me wrong but have I missed it, my honest answer is no. Tonight I ate at Catch by Rudi’s one of my favourite speciality dining restaurants. $39pp and had a great chat with Rudi. What a wonderful man he is and full video on YouTube soon.
