Harking back to some special memories, ever seen a platypus scratch?

This little fella did it in such an elegant way, especially with all those distracting rainbow trout nearby - where was a blokes privacy? (I'm still thinking it was a he: so blithely at ease).

We caught this special moment on a Bespoke Tasmania Tour at the historic Salmon Ponds, where trout were first successfully bred in Tasmania, then further afield within Australasia.

Am feeling quite ‘Euphorbic' at present!
The big Euphorbias, with their vibrant acid greens demand centre stage in sunshine, whilst their smaller relatives gently enhance their pastel shades as foils against the hellebores/camelias.
Not usual plant pairing but works so well here: drought resistant, strike readily, and importantly my very cute, but hungry, interloping paddymelon won’t eat them!
