Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Closing for Major Refurbishment‼️

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is closing starting January 6, 2025, for a year-long refurbishment and is expected to reopen in 2026 with “a little bit of new magic” ✨.

🎢 This makeover may include track updates, enhanced effects, and more surprises to keep the wildest ride in the wilderness even wilder!

If you’re visiting in 2025, be sure to plan around this closure and enjoy other Frontierland favorites! Stay tuned for updates on all the magic coming to Walt Disney World. 💫

Technology isn't so *magical* today....as we're currently experiencing the effects of the nationwide Microsoft/Outlook outage.
