We will present practice and audition strategies for high school clarinet players auditioning for TMEA All-State and All-Region positions in 2023. We want to help you get your All- State etudes to your ‘personal best’ by using the most efficient practice strategies that we will reveal at this class! Join us and learn this year's etudes efficiently using the same practice strategies and techniques we would use ourselves if we were to play them onstage at the Houston Symphony.

We met a fantastic group of students today in Spring, TX. Tuesday we begin with a second group of students in Missouri City. Thanks Donnie Todd from Buffet Crampon for demoing Buffet's newest technology, the Clarimate. The week is off to a great start!! It is not too late to join us this week if you would still like to receive our help in planning to achieve your summer clarinet goals!

Today we are announcing our June 2023 masterclass series entitled 'Achieving Summer Clarinet Goals’. Our two-day camps will be in Spring, TX at Spring High School (June 5th & 7th) and in Missouri City at Elkins High School (June 6 & 8th). Both camps will focus each day on how students can identify for themselves what their top summer clarinet goals can and should be. Individual plans will be given to each student attending the camps in-person, so each student will walk away with a summer practicing plan! We will cover all aspects of clarinet playing including reedwork!

Join us, and we can help make sure you learn them efficiently, the same way we would learn them ourselves if we had to play them onstage at the Symphony.

Congratulations to all the students this week in Sugar Land who attended Houston Clarinet Camp "Create/ACHIEVE Summer Clarinet Goals", both in-person and via Zoom.

We just announced our first camp of the summer, our first in Sugar Land, TX at Sugar Land Middle School on JUN 15-17th @ Noon each day! We will present a 3-day curriculum focused on how students can identify for themselves individually what their top summer clarinet goals can and should be. Individual plans will be given so each student will be able to ACHIEVE every one of their goals! We will be planning curriculum for late JUL and early AUG as well, AND will have a Zoom component for all of our classes so that students outside of Houston may register to audit. Please join us!
