On November 14 we proudly hosted Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day in partnership with Hope Hill Elementary in Atlanta. This event celebrated the bravery and legacy of Ruby Bridges, whose steps, at just six-years-old, became a powerful symbol of the Civil Rights Movement when she integrated into an all-white school in 1960.

We were honored to have Gene Boehm, president and CEO of AAA, and many of our partners, such as Safe Kids Worldwide, Georgia Safe Routes to School Resource Center, Atlanta Department of Transportation and The Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park join us as we honored Ruby’s legacy of courage and inclusion.
