Whaley Zelmer Racing Products Performance camshafts for 4000/4500 rpm governed single cylinder engines

Whaley Zelmer Racing Products is a joint venture of Arthur Whaley and Eric Zelmer that designs and manufactures specialty engine parts for garden tractor pulling. Currently we are offering performance camshafts designed for the 4000-4500 rpm governor stock classes. Our cam design has undergone extensive dyno testing to find the lobe profile and timing that provides more engine torque than any of t

he cams we've tested from our competitors. We also produce a two-piece exhaust fl**ge set for the 10-14hp K-series engines which allows the user to easily weld on 1-1/2" exhaust pipe without restricting the flow with a screwed in pipe ni**le. Arthur Whaley has been involved in the tractor pulling world since 1987 and has been building competition engines since 2002. Arthur now has experience in building engines ranging from single and twin cylinder garden tractors up to NTPA super farm tractors. Eric Zelmer has pulled garden tractors in earlier years and has provided innovative ideas to his friends and family that compete in the sport. Eric brings his knowledge of engineering and production processes to the table in the design and production of WZRP camshafts.

WZRP camshafts had a great weekend!

Ryan Masten played hired gun at the ECGTPA asphalt pull in New Paris, IN and placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd on three different tractors in the 14 hp class, and also won the 16 hp class on his AC WD45.

Kyler Mayhill won the 14 hp hot stock class at the Northern Indiana Pullers event in Idaville, IN against a stack of about 10 tough tractors from Indiana and Michigan.

Congratulations to these drivers who had success over the weekend, and thanks to everyone who uses our camshafts!

Hello Friends and followers. We have been busy as quite a few cams have left Arthur's shop and he is building many a motor and in his “spare” time. Art and “pops” (Jay) are also teaching me how to stuff a Dana 30 into a cub rear housing – Hint: Big Hammer! This week is off as Art is down to the Farm Show with Shane and the Thumpin Pumpkin Super Farm Tractor. Should you be down there, cheer for the Orange, and go introduce yourself to Arthur and Shane.

For future dyne testing, we have some ideas to validate. These include carburation, tuned exhaust, heads, the Whaley Race Head, Valves, Fuel, and Oils. Yes, it is going to be quite the year. I hope we can get it all done.

As always, keep us in mind for your camshaft needs. Our grind continues to perform taking a host of 2015 class championships and runner up efforts.

Many regards.
