Last Saturday, Shaun Laundry, founder of The Ledge Theatre, and Jeff Kramer from CSz San Jose played a ComedySportz match hosted by CSz Portland

Shaun Landry is endeavoring to open a Black-owned, independent improv theater in Los Angeles and CSz Portland supported her Kickstarter by matching the donations made on that day.

They managed to raise $2156 for The Ledge Theatre! 🙌

CSz Indianapolis and ComedySportz Find New Home for Live Performance!
Live Shows Are Back on Saturdays!

Avon, IN, May 20, 2021 - After being virtual-only for 14 months due to The Covid-19 Pandemic, CSz Indianapolis (producer of ComedySportz) is excited to announce that it will be resuming live in-person performances starting Saturday June 5th, 2021 at Red Curb Improv Comedy Theatre (RCT) in Avon! ComedySportz Matches (for all ages) will restart with one weekly performance on Saturday nights at 7pm. Tickets will start at $15 and can be purchased now at www.cszindianapolis.com!

CSz Indianapolis is thrilled to have RCT as a new temporary home every Saturday at 7pm. ComedySportz is a hilarious, all-ages, high-energy, interactive improv comedy show where two teams of improvisers compete in a series of short-form improv games in an effort to win points from the audience. Audiences love our Ref-hosted improv competition that’s the perfect fit for audiences of all ages. Doors open at 6:30pm. Show starts at 7pm.

CSz Indianapolis Co-Owner and Artistic Director, Todd Kenworthy, says, “Over the past year we have been doing performances and workshops virtually. We are excited to be able to perform for our loyal fans in person again and hear their laughter.”

In order reopen as safely as possible, Red Curb will be capping the theatre’s capacity at 60% and will expect audience members to wear a mask when not actively eating or drinking. Red Curb Theatre is located at 8403 E US HWY 36, Avon, Indiana in the same complex as The Avon Barbershop, The iShop, Frye Electric, and Jump and Play.

In our free 60-minute workshop you will learn some basic Improv skills that you can use in your personal or professional life.

Your coach will make sure you have a fun and supportive time playing ComedySportz-style improv games.

What to expect:
• Learn the basic tenants of improv.
• There is no pressure to perform - no one will be picked on or forced to play.
• A safe and inclusive space.
• Laugh and have fun.

The CSz Workshop is held in a casual environment and no experience is required.

**Each person must register individually. We will send you the zoom link straight after registration**
