The Abrolhos Marine National Park (Portuguese: Parque Nacional Marinho dos Abrolhos) is a Marine Park located in the Abrolhos Archipelago since 1983.[1]

The Abrolhos are an archipelago of five islands with coral reefs off the southern coast of the state of Bahia state in the northeast of Brazil, between 17º25’–18º09’ S and 38º33’–39º05’ W., the so-called Whale Coast (Costa das Baleias).

Fernando de Noronha (Portuguese pronunciation: [feʁˈnɐ̃du d(ʒ)ɨ noˈɾoɲɐ]) is an archipelago of 21 islands and islets in the Atlantic Ocean, 354 km (220 mi) offshore from the Brazilian coast. The archipelago got its name from the Portuguese merchant Fernão de Loronha, whom it was given by the Portuguese crown for services rendered to the wood imported from Brazil. The main island has an area of 18.4 square kilometres (7.1 sq mi) and had a population estimated at 2,718 in 2012.[1] The area is a special municipality (distrito estadual) of the Brazilian state of Pernambuco (despite being closer to the state of Rio Grande do Norte),[2] with about 70% established in 1988 as a national maritime park.

The Pantanal Matogrossense National Park is a national park of Brazil, in the southern state of Mato Grosso. The park is part of the Pantanal Conservation Area. It was listed as a "Wetland of International Importance" Under the Ramsar Convention in 1993.[1] The Cuiabá River runs through Pantanal Matogrossense National Park.

Weekly flights by TRIP Linhas Aéreas links Horácio de Mattos Airport, the gateway of Chapada Diamantina, with Salvador da Bahia, the capital of the state. There are buses leaving the Salvador Bus Station daily.

Located on the eastern coast of the state of Maranhão by the banks of the Preguiças River, the park embraces the municipalities of Humberto de Campos, Primeira Cruz, Santo Amaro and Barreirinhas, the latest serving as the main jumping off point into the protected park.

There are several regular bus/truck routes between Barreirinhas and São Luís, Brazil (Maranhão's capital), a distance of about 260 km. There are also air taxis from São Luís to Barreirinhas. The Rio Preguiças river connects the park to Atins, a small town at the southern edge of the park. The most important access roads near the park are BR-135, BR-222, MA-404, and MA-225.

The National Park is quite extensive and has no direct access roads. Because of the nature of the park's protected status, most vehicles are not permitted access. Entrance to the park is made exclusively by 4-wheel drive trucks. Escorted trekking trips and tours are offered by various companies including Adventure Life, Bespoke Brazil, and Pantanal Adventures.
