Good morning Cougars,

This is a reminder that tonight we have our monthly board meeting that is also election night. If you've ever wanted to help, or understand the ins and outs of the program, then now is your chance to get involved. We can always use additional help. We will be upstairs at Backstop at 6:30.

Registrar (this position is not "open" yet, but we request a year of training by the prior registrar before their term is over)
Co-Fundraiser Chair

Good morning Cougars!

It's time for gear return. 8th and 7th grade on Wednesday, 11/6, from 6-7:30pm. 3/4 and 5/6 Thursday, 11/7, at the same time. We ask that parents wash game jerseys (for all levels except 8th) and pants, both practice and game. We also ask that you clean pads and helmets before returning them. Anything returned to us dirty means more work for the board who will have to take these things home and wash them. Please be respectful for our time by returning gear clean.

You do NOT need to wash the outside of the helmet, only the inside. An easy wipe down on the inside of both pads and helmet is great. If you could spray with a disinfectant that would also be much appreciated.

We want to thank everyone for a great season. A survey will be coming out soon, as well. We hope to see our athletes next season! And if you are participating in any other sports this year, we wish you all the best!

Hey everyone, last night we found two items that were left behind. A pair of headphones and an Apple Watch. If you lost either of these items please send us a message with a description of the items lost so we can get them back to you.

Good morning Cougars! We want to wish all our teams good luck today on their very first games of the season! Many of our teams are playing at home today, at the high school, and are so excited to get this season really going. Whether you are playing at CHS or farther afield today, we hope all our athletes give it their all, have good sportsmanship win or lose, and everyone has a great day of football!

Cougars!! This year we are hoping to run the concessions stand for games. We need at least one adult who has a food handlers permit in the building with anyone who is helping, and we need at least 3 people total to run it. If we get enough volunteers we can have it open every weekend. Check out the link below and sign up for a time slot!

Good afternoon, everyone! Welcome to the second week of football practice. We hope everyone is holding up after that first week and is looking forward to getting back to it this week. Today we will have our youth merchandise up for sale during practice again. We are shooting for 5/5:30pm today, but it could be a little later. So if you missed out the first time, don't worry! The stand is back tonight and next Monday, too.

If any of our families are in the Evacuation Go Now zone, we hope you and your loved ones are all safe. Please be careful when traveling today, avoid that section of 99E and South End if at all possible, and reach out if you need anything. We hope all those affected by this fire so close to home are safe. We will be keeping an eye on things and hoping our amazing fire fighters can get this under control soon. Stay safe, everyone.

Cougar families,

If you wrote us a check for gear drop off that was NOT intended to be cashed and you see that it has been, please contact us immediately. The checks were in our cash box for safety during pick up and our wonderful treasurer made a mistake in depositing those checks rather than holding onto them. We want to make sure everyone gets their money back immediately to avoid any issues for families. You can reach out here, via Facebook, or email our registrar to let them know. Please let us know how you would like the money returned to you and the name that would have been on your check.

We deeply apologize for this inconvenience and will be sure to everything we can to make this right.

A reminder before we head into the weekend that gear pick up is next Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please check your email (including junk!!) for all the information about your time and the location. Also, a reminder to please bring a check with you for gear check out. This check WILL NOT be cashed unless all gear is not returned during drop off in November.

With registration now closed for the season for tackle football, we are reminding everyone that gear pick up is NEXT week for all grades. A reminder that we are asking that ONLY the player who is scheduled come during their time; no younger siblings tagging along this year. We are also asking everyone to bring a check for $350 that will be returned or shredded at the end of the season upon return of all gear. We have been having a hard time getting our gear returned to us at the end of the season and it's expensive to have to replace it. When you pick up your gear you will sign a contract ensuring the return of everything. We will have a check list we will go through with your player when they are collecting their gear. We apologize for the inconvenience for everyone, and appreciate your cooperation during this time of transition.

07/24/2024 5pm-7:30pm: 5/6 tackle ONLY
