In a class size of no more than 4 children to 1 swim instructor, children master the skills they need to be safe and confident in the water. Beginning as early as 4 months, children progress through a series of perpetual swimming lessons, graduating to higher levels of difficulty as swimming skills are mastered. Goldfish also offers special events like birthday parties, family swim, accelerated Jump Start Clinics and our Recreational Swim Team, catered to swimmers who have completed the Goldfish Pro Level. The pure delight we experience as we witness our children grow, learn, take on challenges, and exhibit immense courage is truly unparalleled. ✨
These are golden moments, for us and them. The fact that we get to be a part of so many of these moments is something we'll never take for granted - here, it's more than just swim lessons. 🧡
One of the reasons why our curriculum provides repeated proven results for swimmers is because we made progressions a key part of our swim lesson curriculum. Did you know that we even use progressions in our Mini Lessons (our swim lessons designed specifically for babies and toddlers)? 💫
These progressions allow instructors to teach to the individual, and meet each child exactly where they are to help them work on specific skills and advance through our swim lesson levels!

Stress Busting Tip 2 (to tackle overwhelm): Take 1 thing off your ‘must do’ list. Every parent creates lists that feel like ‘must dos’ when in reality they aren’t. You don’t have to attend EVERY game. You don’t have to drive to EVERY practice (set up a carpool or let a friend/grandparent drive). You don’t HAVE to make your child’s school treat for their birthday (buying a store-bought treat is just as fun for the kids).
Stress Busting Tip 3 (to tackle isolation): Create a parent posse at work or through school. Set up a text group or coffee club and use it as a place to share primarily ‘parenting fails’ and hard moments. Building comradery around the hard times will creates a safe space and a way to normalize ‘real life’ in ways that social media doesn’t.
