Road Trip from HEL’s story

Hi,

I’m Jenni, the founder of Road Trip from HEL website. I lived fairly long time abroad and there I finally realized how beautiful and extraordinary country Finland is. Sometimes you have to travel a long way to find what is near they say. I found myself dreaming of forests, lakes, archipelago, northern lights, 4 seasons and Midnight Sun to just mention few of my favorite features of Finland. While I was traveling from Helsinki to Pohjanmaa to meet my relatives, however, I always stopped at the same gas station for a short break. Boring! There must be something else to see!

Road Trip from HEL was founded to be a guide along your road trip in Finland. Most highways are boring, so Road Trip HEL’s map is guiding you to leave busy highways and find awesome natural wonders, explore Finnish rural and city culture or try exciting activities all over Finland all year round. It's a big shame that so many cool places are passed by since you probably didn’t know their existence or it takes too long time to find them on confusing online jungle. I wanted to make it more simple for you. That’s how “The Best Road Trip Stops” map was born. I collect carefully selected tips for you to save your time and nerves. Less is more.
