Why do we get reviews that say things like:
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"Just completed a 2 day Hill Skills course with Ash, it was brilliant. Ash is super knowledgeable and a very patient teacher. We had 2 days of walking in beautiful surroundings and he actually taught me to read a map, something, I thought I'd never master!"
Or

"Amazing course with a great bunch of people. Ash made it really fun and the 2 days flew by. Lots of laughs and giggles all the way.
Feel very confident now to do first aid if I was every in that position.

Maybe it's because no-mad Adventures is just part of what we do. You'll know us for leading, coaching and developing skills for individuals.
BUT did you know that no-mad Adventures is a brand of www.mentrau-bach.com?
Through Mentrau Bach one of the things we do is develop systems and processes to ensure that teams operate well in higher risk areas - and this needs the development of non-technical skills. It's generally accepted that in this area, learning is better achieved through facilitation than instruction. That means that a lot of thought goes into how to make the learning experience the most effective.
So, on no-mad Adventure sessions we work really really hard to impart the skills to think critically, rather than just repeat what we've told you (instruction). I can genuinely say, although I've delivered tens if not hundreds of courses, I've never delivered the same course twice.
It's a subtle difference, but one that makes a huge difference to every individual - and when it doesn't work, it gives the ability to solve the problem rather than flat spin.
Apologies for the academic explanation, the next picture will be an outdoor one, I promise. And then we'll be putting dates up for 2025 🎉🎊🎉
If there's any course you would particularly like to see, and you've read this far, drop a line to [email protected] and we'll line it up.
